*Nia's POV*

We ran and ended up in a forest.
"I think it's safe, we'll stay here," I said.

There was a river flowing through the forest with birds sitting on almost every branch. I could smell a hint of dirt which didn't really bother me as it was the safest place that we could find.

I could hear birds singing sad songs that gave me some comfort about what had happened. I could also taste a slight minty taste of fresh air.

*Erik's POV*

Michelle and I sat beside some trees and cried. Abdul was dead and it was all because of me. The letter popped into my mind and I sobbed even more. I should have paid more attention to it and maybe I would've been able to change the time stream.

*Michelle's POV*

As I heard Erik's sobs, I couldn't help but start crying too. I shouldn't have told Rose that I love her. Now she probably hates me. I told her that in the midst of chaos.

What if she doesn't love me back? I should have kept quiet. I remembered the letter. I of course always say things in the midst of chaos.

I hugged Erik as we both needed it. He buried his head into my shoulder and our cries were becoming silent and all we could hear were the birds singing.

It was getting dark and Nia said, "We can sleep here, the trees will be able to hide us."

When Nia had gone to sleep, Erik and I took out a piece of paper and wrote our letters.
