After the Fact. -Ethan winters x Fem reader-

Ethan was getting released today, He was improving so much better and he could walk. Since Rose can crawl now he usually chased her around his hospital room. I grabbed my purse, shoving my wallet in it. A bag for Ethan and some snacks for Rose, putting them and rose into her stroller. "Ready to See Daddy?" You said, strapping her in. She replied with the biggest smile ever.

You decided to walk to the hospital since it was on base it was only a 15-20 walk and it would be good for rose to see more of where she may be growing up for a while. You put down her small sun visor that was connected to her stroller and began walking, making sure to give her water every now and then.

You stopped at a ice cream shop near the hospital and decided to treat Rose and Ethan. You got rose a small cup of chocolate and Ethan rocky road, it was his favorite. On your first date he took you to a ice cream shop after dinner, and he got the biggest cone of Rocky Road ever. You took the ice cream and hoped it didn't melt before you gave it to him.

You made it to the hospital with the ice cream still intact. "Ready to see daddy?" You said to rose, throwing away her trash. You two stopped at a flower shop in the hospital and grabbed some roses. They were his favorite, if you can't tell he named rose. You walked to his room, and there he was. He was sitting on his bed with his new clothes on and the biggest smile on his face when he saw you and rose.

He got up, grinning, and ran over to you. He gave you the biggest hug ever kissing you all over your face. "Hi Ethan!" You said, between laughs. "Hi love!" You we're trying your hardest not to get the ice cream and flowers all over the place. He backed up to go see rose, while he was smothering her with his love you fixed up the flowers and made sure the ice cream was still solid, surprisingly it was!

He strapped her back in the stroller and looked at you, you were holding his gifts out. "What are these for?" He asked, you sighed. "You, there's roses and rocky road ice cream. All for you." He smiled again and hugged you. "Let's eat it on the way back?" You nodded and left the hospital, this time you won't be back tomorrow.
