After the Fact. -Ethan winters x Fem reader-

You're going home today! Eveline was finally gone. For good. And it was safe for you to go home. Chris told you the baby could stay with you. So you agreed, hoping Ethan would be okay with the idea. You decided not to name her, and if Ethan did agree. He would name her.

You went back to your room and grabbed your suitcase, grabbing your ring, which you forgot, and putting it on and leaving.

"Y/n you ready?" Chris asked, you did a checklist one last time and nodded. Ready to get out of this hellhole

You checked the time, almost 12. You glanced at the baby and decided to feed her.

You stood up and grabbed a bottle from the little kitchen and heated it up, as you're were waiting you got a text from Ethan.

Ethan 🤍: hey love, I haven't heard from you in a while. Gimme a call when you can.

You frowned, and pushed the call button.

Ring..

Ri-

"Y/n!" Ethan's voice was overly enthusiastic.
"Hey Ethan, look before the questions start I'll answer them at home. Which I am on the way to."

"YOU'RE ON THE WAY HOME?!" He said with a what you hoped a smile on his face. "Yes I am, with a lot of surprises.." you said, hinting at Eveline and the baby. "Okay I'll let you get some sleep, it's almost midnight." You said, trying to end the conversation. Sure you absolutely loved talking to Ethan but right now there was so much guilt on you that you couldn't talk to him.

"Okay, I love you baby. I'll see you soon"

He hung up the phone and you groaned, trying so hard not to get upset. You grabbed the bottle and went to the baby, waking her up and feeding her.

Hopefully he would take all of this well.
