I woke up cold and alone. After last night I started to question my efforts with the 141. I mean, why accuse me?
I decided to hold off on my thoughts as I got dressed in some warmer clothing. Grabbing my things before heading out to grab Y/N for our morning jog. But when I reached her cot, I didn't find her. Just Ghost. Folding a blanket over her bed.
"..." my face showed my shock and confusion as I watched this 6'2 man stand over my little sisters bed. Completely unbothered. Like he owned the place. My anger got the better of me when I stomped over to him and turned him around. Holding his collar. "What the hell do you think you're doing?"
"Easy there Johnny."
"First I'm interrogated, then I wake up cold, and now, I find a man, who I thought was my friend, over my sister's bed!"
"You need to calm down Johnny. I didn't do what you think I did."
"Oh, then what did you do?"
"If you would get off me I would gladly tell you."
I clenched his shirt in my fists before pushing him off. Giving him a chance to explain.
"Last night, Laswell asked me and a few other operatives to Interrogate every person on base to find the mole."
"And?"
"And your sister was the 5th person we went through, she lasted through 3 ice buckets before I pulled her out. Afterwards, Laswell told me to get her warm and make sure she wasn't going to get hypothermia. So I stayed the night.. sitting at the foot of the bed."

I looked down at my finger, which was taped up. I was wondering why or how Ghost could hear me begging and not do anything sooner, but I guess he wasn't really concerned. I kept walking, before realizing that I had totally forgot about John. He was probably still waiting for me to go on our run.
I mentally face palmed myself before jogging back over to my cot space. While jogging to the door I heard a conversation going on.
Was ghost sleep talking? I asked myself before opening the door to find John talking to him. I smiled. "Hey! You ready?" I asked.
They looked at each other before John answered. "Yeah, I'll be right out."
I nodded as I left. Closing the door behind me to let them finish up their conversation. Listening in from outside of course.
"Just stay away from my sister. Got it?" John affirmed ghost.
"Sure. Whatever you say Johnny."
My brother sighed before heading out. Giving me time to look busy.
"Hey, you ready to go?" He asked me.
"Uh.. yeah."
"Good. Cause It's Gonna be extra long today."
"Wha-!"
"Ah! Tch. No complaining."
I groaned and with a roll of my eyes, we started jogging around base.
A few minutes later, I was heavy breathing and exhausted. John didn't let me stop, he was riding my ass on this run.
"John, I need to take a break!" I gasped between pants.
"Nope!" He said before turning the corner.
I groaned as I followed him. "John! I'm serious! I need water!"
