Ghost was being weird, maybe it was because he was my superior that he was wondering how I was doing, but I've never seen soap do this for anyone else. Only price.

We entered the mess hall, grabbing our trays before I scanned around for soap.

"He's eating outside." Ghost answered my question. Like he was reading my mind.

"Oh." I finished grabbing my food and waited for him to finish up. Watching him randomly pick up a sandwich and apple made me realize he didn't really have a preference for anything. I wondered if he was the same with.. some things.

"Let's eat over here." I offered the table in the corner. Next to the painting of a dog.

He shook his head, leading me to the table in the hallway. Barely any people came this way, so maybe he was looking for privacy? I put my tray down as I watched him lift his mask up to uncover his mouth.

"Is that as far as you're gonna go?" I asked but he only gave me a glare before turning back to carve his apple with his combat knife.

"You were saying?" He questioned while taking a slice of his apple.

"About what?"

"About you feeling like a kid."

"Oh! Uh.." I sighed. "I don't know..." I played with my oatmeal, mixing in the sugar and cinnamon. "It's like, I get I'm a little younger than you guys, but I still have plenty of experience. - it's almost like you guys were expecting me to stroll in here acting like a - .. a.." I blanked, searching for a word that was on the tip of my tongue.

"Brat?" He finished my sentence.

"Yeah!" I relaxed in my chair taking a spoonful of my oatmeal. Swallowing before speaking. "But I don't know.. maybe I could be a little bratty sometimes." I shrugged.

"Not really. You should see your brother sometimes."

I let out a little chuckle, cocking a smile towards him when he suddenly gave me a small glance up. Not moving his head, only his dark eyes. Looking into the mask made me realize I couldn't really invasion a  face behind it, I mean.. I saw his mouth clear as day, but his eyes.. they looked like tar pits with two eyes stuck in the middle.  I kept trying to imagine a real person, but all I saw was someone unreadable.

I turned my head down to continue eating when I saw an apple slice Slide Over to me.

"Wanna slice?" He asked. Pointing the stabbed apple slice to me.

I nodded and thanked him as I slid the slice from his knife. Taking a bite of the crisp apple when we suddenly heard a voice down the hall.

"We know it's you Williams!"

A loud thud startled my nerves.

"I don't know what you're talking about! I'm not the mole! I swear! I have a famil-!"

We heard impact and immediately got up from our seats. Ghost pulling down his mask as he opened the hallway's doors to find a group of men huddled around Williams. Punching, kicking, stomping on him while he begged them to stop. Soon returning the favor at a few before quickly being outnumbered. We jumped in, grabbing and restraining a few while calling for help.

"Stop fighting!" I ordered.

"He's the mole! I swear! I saw him!" One of them said.

"He's putting us all in danger!" Another called out.

We managed to get two of the five out when we went back to get more. But when I started grabbing the ring leader of the group, he yelled.

"Get off of me you stupid fucking bitch!" He nudged. Hitting the side of my head in the process. I fell back, comforting my head when I saw blood on my hand from my nose.

I got annoyed. Pissed even. Who the hell was the guy to be hitting me like that?!

I went back to him when a hand stopped me.

Ghost then grabbed his shoulder, turning him and clocking him square in the jaw. The guy looked dazed, but ghost wasn't done. With him confused, ghost grabbed his arm and lower back before knocking the wind out of him with a knee to the gut.

With his breath out of his lungs, he quickly fell to the ground. Toppling over to the side. Ghost looked over to me. Giving me a disappointing look. I felt bad for a second, but realized his friend was coming square for ghost's head. I pushed ghost forward as I grabbed my gun from my thigh and ran forward a little passed the guy charging. Hitting the back of his head with the handle while tripping him at the same time. Holding my ground when he turned to face me from the floor. I motioned with the barrel for him to turn to the wall. Which he eventually did with a side roll of his eyes.

"Ghost." I said, ordering him to put the zip ties on him.

Once that was over, I put my gun back in its place and turned to face Williams.

Crouching to see the damage that was done. He was a newbie and I guess some people didn't like that.

He was cowering, scared to even look at us.

"Hey." I said, calling his attention.

He peaked an eye out, checking if the coast was clear.

"Let's get you some bandages, yeah?" I offered while putting my hand out to help him up. He struggled for a second before accepting. Allowing me to lift his arm over my shoulder to help him walk. "Ghost, stay here with these guys, I'll be back."

He nodded, and with that, I was off to the clinic.
