Miraculous: Tales of Viperion and Basilisk

Chapter 6

My POV

I stared at the large robot, terrified, while Adrian and Marinette ran the opposite way.

"Elizabeth!" Luka grabbed my hand, and we started running from the robot until we got to the changing rooms. "Stay here, you'll be safe." He whispered. After Luka left, I opened my bag, looking at Bali.

"Bali, Scales Out!"

Luka POV

After making sure the Robot was far enough away from her, I ran back to check on Elizabeth.

"Elizabeth?" I opened the door after not hearing her, just to see it empty and I panicked. Where did she go?

While looking for her, I saw Ladybug and Cat Noir fighting the latest Akumatized villain and Ladybug looked at me with a grin before pointing toward a statue. I nodded and ran to where we could be hidden and I turned into Viperion, setting up my 'Second Chance.'

"No one can know our secret identities!"

"Count on me!" I grinned as she used her lucky charm to summon a stuffed animal and I looked around, hoping to see Elizabeth. I ran next to Ladybug as we got back into battle with Wishmaker until I heard a familiar laugh and shade of my favorite green pass by.

"Sweetheart!" I grinned, seeing Basilisk, who winked at me before ducking Wishmaker's attack.

"Sorry, I'm late to the party Darling!"

"Don't you want your childhood dreams to come true!?" Wishmaker yelled, hitting Ladybug.

"M-Marinette?"

"Viperion!" Basilisk called out, and I nodded, shaking my head before grabbing my bracelet.

"Second chance!"

Making sure Marinette wasn't going to get hit, I helped her run to the man who wanted the stuffed animal but heard a groan. I turned around in a panic to see Basilisk thrown against a wall and Cat Noir transforming.

"This isn't the right moment... Second chance!" I called, seeing who Cat Noir is.

I made sure Ladybug knew what to do while I went to save Cat Noir, but didn't expect WishMaker to fire off another shot right after missing us the first time. Shit!

"Viperion!" I turned to see Basilisk running towards me, jumping in the way just as the ray was about to hit me. I froze, staring at Basilisk.

"What's wrong, sweetheart?" I frowned, seeing Basilisk leaning over the balcony, softly crying.

"I wish I could tell him how I feel. He was akumatized, and it was all my fault!" She cried out.

"I'm sure you weren't the one to blame." I pulled her into a hug, trying to figure out which recent villain was Basilisk's love. "Was it recent?"

"No, it was a few weeks back. You weren't there." I wasn't there? "Might have heard about it though...hear about Truth?"

"Elizabeth?" I whispered, and she smiled, looking at her outfit.

"I've always wished Luka would love me the way I love him."

I froze, hearing them call my name but I couldn't help but run over to her, my eyes wide.

"I do Elizabeth, I love you." I pulled her in for a long sweet kiss before looking at my watch, "But I want it to be right. Second Chance!"

My POV

After defeating Wishmaker, I went to ask Viperion something but didn't see him at all. Knowing Luka would be looking for me, I ran back to the stall and transformed before the door whipped out and revealed Luca looking panicked.

"Luca?" I asked, and he just pulled me into a sweet embrace, saying he'd see me later.

I climbed up to the balcony where Viperion and I always meet up to start our daily patrol. Something was off with Luca and I hadn't seen him since Wishmaker was defeated. I was hoping Viperion would tell me what happened with WishMaker, wondering why he ran away so quickly.

I froze when I got to the top, seeing a small romantic setup waiting for me with a single rose. What in the world? I looked at Luca, who was sitting on the blanket, gently strumming his guitar.

"Uh- Luca?" I stopped, surprised and slightly panicked about how he would know about this place. He looked up at me with his heart-warming smile as he stood up.

"Hey, I'm sorry for earlier, I probably made you worry over nothing." He chuckled, and I stood at the edge of the blanket, slightly confused. "Elizabeth...I love you, and I don't want to hide it from you anymore. And to prove it..." He stood up and out popped a little Kwami Snake. "Sass, scales slither." I watched as my crush Luka transform into my other crush Viperion.

"Y-you..." I was dumbfounded, my heart racing.

"When we fought Wishmaker, and you saved me, revealing your wish about me loving you? It had already come true the day I met you." Luca took my hand. "At first, I was afraid to tell you how I felt. What would you think about me disappearing all the time? What if something happened to me...to you! But then this afternoon... I just had to take the chance, knowing that I would do anything for you."

I stood there in shock as he transformed back and eventually I was able to get those words out, too. Luca opened his mouth, and I could see the fear in his eyes before I smiled brightly and pulled him in for a passionate kiss that led to him on top of me making out.

"I guess this means we're official?" Luca whispered, and I chuckled, placing a hand gently on his cheek.

"You and me. Viperion and Basilisk." I said and Luca nodded with a smile.
