Miraculous: Tales of Viperion and Basilisk

Chapter 12

My POV

After Marinette warned everyone about what had happened and how she was tricked by Adrian's cousin Felix, we were all on edge. Shadow Moth was smart and went after one holder at a time. First was Bunnyx and then was Polymouse. Luckily even with their miraculous stolen, in the end, Cat Noir and Ladybug could save the day but it made me worry. When would he go after Luka? And when would he then find out I'm Basilisk?

"Hey, Beautiful. What's on your mind?" Luka asked grabbing my backpack as we headed into town to enjoy a beautiful summer day.

"The usual, but I suppose I shouldn't worry too much." I sighed causing Luka to laugh and pulled me close to him.

"Don't worry Mon amour. I promise to always protect you." He said, rubbing the emerald engagement ring on my finger gently. While we weren't quite ready for marriage, we had turned the ring into a promise ring and an engagement ring.

A few days later I had gotten a message from Marinette asking us to help stop the villain Darker Owl to not fall into a trap to lose the Ladybug and Black cat miraculous.

Not a problem. B and V are on it!

"Bali scales out!"

"Sass, scales slither!"

Jumping from rooftop to rooftop we found where the Darker owl was as he was laying out his entire scheme once Ladybug and Cat Noir arrived.

"Hey, Darker Owl!" I shouted, causing a distraction as Luka used his second-chance ability and went to save the civilians from danger.

"Your not Ladybug! Where is she and Cat Noir?!" Darker Owl was furious and I shrugged with a grin.

"Don't want to play fire with fire? That seems a bit unfair don't you think?" I laughed, dodging his ray gun blast with panic. Oh great, just like that others they warped the miraculous gifts!

I clapped my hands together and dodged running towards Darker Owl, a part of me thinking this was too easy before he grinned and aimed it at Viperion who wasn't looking.

"Sweetheart!" I yelled,  stopping just as Viperion turned around and got blasted with Jubilation. "No!"

Luka POV

*Dream*

"Sweetheart!" I heard the panic in her voice and jumped to the side seeing a blast missing me by an inch. I turned around and saw Basilisk jumping on Darker Owl swiping at him and ending this villain easily.

"Amazing work Sweetheart!" I grinned watching as Ladybug and Cat Noir quickly ran over to fix everything while we found a card in his coat pocket leading us right to Monarch. Ladybug and Cat Noir were able to stop Monarch once and for all while the whole town cheered and celebrated us.

My POV

"Sweetheart! Snap out of it!" I shook Viperion's body in a panic. I grabbed his body and ran after hitting Darker Owl in the head giving us time to hide as I tried to figure out how to snap him out of it.

"Basilisk! Come here and I can put you both in a dream together!" Darker Owl called out while his footsteps grew near. I kissed Viperion's forehead before locking the door behind me as I left and ran to get Darker Owl away from Luka.

Luka POV

*Dream*

"Congratulations!" Everyone cheered us on as we walked outside the church now husband and wife. I was beyond thrilled, never wanting this day to end. All of our friends and family were there to celebrate.

"Sweetheart! Snap out of it!"

"Did you say something Mon Amour?" I looked at Elizabeth who seemed confused.

"No? Are you hearing things?" She smirked and I rolled my eyes.

"Guess all this excitement is going to my head."

My POV

"You won't get me that easily!" I huffed running out of breath.

"You can run, but you can't hide Basilisk!" Darker Owl yelled as I turned the corner and unlocked the door I was hiding Luka in who was still sleeping.

"Come on sweetheart, it's just a dream. I need you now!" I whispered, locking the door quietly trying to control my breathing so we weren't caught. Come on Elizabeth, think of something!

Luka POV

*Dream*

I sat in the waiting room my leg bouncing with nerves as everyone started arriving with their gifts.

"Well?" Adrian asked and I laughed.

"Well from the screaming, she's defiantly a fighter. Doc said that little Evelynn should be born any minute." I grinned, holding our 2-year-old son Cain in my arms.

"Come on Sweetheart, don't make me use Dream venom on you."

I looked around with a frown and shook my head with a sigh. Dream Venom? We haven't been Viperion or Basilisk in over three years.

"I-I'll be right back. I need some fresh air." I couldn't breathe, something clearly wrong as I pushed open the door.

"I Love you. Wait, no... Luka, save me!!!"

"It's a dream... I was hit and to wake me up." My eyes widened as I realized what has happened. 

I never missed the shot Darker Owl shot at me. I stood there in tears and anger as I forced myself to wake up.

My POV

"Tell me where it is girl!" Darker Owl threw me on the ground, pointing his ray gun at me and I chuckled

"In your dreams Darker Owl!" I growled just as I heard someone running down the hall. "V?!"

Emerging from the shadows was Viperion who looked thoroughly pissed off. Oh god, what happened?

"Playing with someone's emotions like that... I should kill you." Viperion was angry and all I could think about was the time Viperion was akumatized.

"Viperion, no!" I shouted just as I saw Ladybug lasso Viperion with her Yo-Yo as Cat Noir used his ability on Darker Owl's mask freeing the Akuma butterfly.

I ran over to Luka who was still fuming on the ground even after everyone had left, not talking to anyone.

"Are you-"

"He showed me the life I wanted with you..." Luka looked at me and I realized what he meant.

"And we'll have that life one day. Just not while were Juniors in high school. But I promise one day I will call you my husband." I said kneeling down with a claw out. "If you want-"

"No, your right Mon amour. One day it won't be my greatest dream, it will be reality." Luka said and pulled me in for a passionate kiss.
