Chantelle's POV
"Natalia! bring the candles over here" "Okay grandma"Oh hi! l am Chantelle Natalia Perrigo l am Mexican well my whole family is Mexican.
"Where are you"
"Coming!!!"
Oh well we are going to have evening to our wonderful god Huitzilopochti.
Yeah l know it's weird and hard to pronounce but l learnt it when l was four and we are Aztec people. We still follow all the traditional customs and our god who has protected all of us until now but maybe not forever.
"Here grandma" l give her the candles "Oh bless you my dear" She says that as she kisses her index and middle finger and touches my cheeks. I slightly blush at her actions "Thanks grandma" "It's okay my dear"
Well l love my grandma so much she's a 65 beautiful lady has amazing long sleek hair and she's loved us so much. She's the one that understands and listens to me. She always tells me about how her and grandpa would live together, how they met at high school, how he was so good at soccer and the soccer captain of his league while she was the cheer leader of the girls' cheer team.
"Looking deep into my sea green eyes as l looked between his dark blue eyes. His strong arm around my small waist as his hand just provided enough warmth for any girl to faint off! It all just happened suddenly as we danced since the boys had won the State tournaments and as we celebrated.
We had to dance and celebrate with the boys. As l was heading to the dressing room into a descent wear since l was in a round mid thigh skirt, white crop top and blazer. Red and white long stockings with white snickers, my hair in a high ponytail as it fell on my waist.
Gabriel just kept staring at me as we were celebrating and it wasn't the first time. At that time when he held me through the dance.
It was when the love began.
Muscular, dark brown eyes, dirty blonde hair, blue eyes and a million dollar smile that made every girl's heart melt. Gabriel Fernandez was very hot and popular. He would get any girl he wanted cause all hot girls wanted him but he chose me and loved me alone"
She said all this as she looked up as if she was remembering every single moment and feeling.
She also told me how she eloped with grandpa in college when she found out that she was pregnant of aunt Isabella, so they started doing activities to get money until grandpa got employed since he knew a lot about computers and she knew alot about catering.
So at the age of 20, she said they were both young, in love and they took care of their daughter until they provided for her and then got papa and uncle Pedro when they were 23.
The happiness subsided until a fire broke into the neighbor's house and grandpa ran to help them but before he left he talked to her and to papa and uncle Pedro by the way papa is a twin and who were not yet born but sadly little did she know that was her last time seeing him.
Its just so sad that grandma hasn't yet forgotten but she's a strong woman even after uncle Pedro died at the age of 15 for some reason and l love her a lot for being a strong independent woman.
But if she only knew that l also lost Nooo! never should l ever talk about that again. Never again!
"Chantelle Chantelle we're done organizing, can you come now" l wipe the watery stuff onto my face.
"Okay ma" l go inside and find all the preparations done.
The lights were off, candles on, the altar was decorated with our god's pictures and smoke spread through the room like always but Kait and l are highly affected by this smoke for some reason.
