Raven's POV
"Raven are you done" "Yeah coming!"
I put in my white and black running shoes as I ran to the gym.Well I decided to finally go for basketball well after some many debates with my mind so I joined the saphomore and junior beginners.
It's a huge place cause of the two basketball courts, one for boys and the other for girls but boys have three courts cause of how the school gains a lot from boys' basketball.
I look around and see seniors training with Mr. Dan and I think I saw the coach on the boys' side. I made sure that I wouldn't make any eye contact with anyone especially the boys "Harper do not move with the ball. Slide with it. Look at me" Wow Mr. Dan does it so perfectly and wait, Amelia plays basketball?
Amelia is a tanned dark haired 5'3 tomboy and I'm not so sure but I think she doesn't like me cause she gives some attitude and now me joining basketball is gonna be hard.
But wait! she plays basketball!?? I don't know why I'm still surprised cause she looks like a sportswoman. But then why would Mr. Dan train her with the seniors? Is she in the school team? But wow Mr. Dan does the sliding thingy really well!
Well Mr. Dan has been my Economics teacher since I was in freshmen year and he's just my favourite teacher. His full emerald sharp intimidating eyes and looks, small looks and nose, early thirties and portable body. He looks good but he's a bit scary and feared by a lot of students. Well my Economics, History, Spanish and English classes are my favorite cause the students that I study with are all my friends. We are so free with each other and we're like a family and we wish we stayed with them in all my classes until we were done with high school.
Anyway back to the seniors. Oh God those guys are beautiful!! The slayers, tomboys, I don't care types, funny girls, down to earth girls. All are just pretty, rich, nice fashion and some play basketball! Cool to have a pretty rich basketball girlfriend.
Okay and still back to the seniors. Oh the boys!! I haven't yet seen any junior with unique beauty like the senior boys. Cool expensive outfits, pins on noses, lips, eyebrow side and the way they walk on the hallways with smirks on their faces as slayers fall themselves on them.
Okay I kind of crushed on five seniors but there's this one I won't forget Elijah who was so handsome and cute at the same time and he concertrated on soccer, basketball, books and him well whenever I saw him and he would give me some looks making me nervous.
Yeah that's me, if any guy gives me strange looks I get nervous and from no where I will blush I know it's super weird but anyway time passed and I got to know he had this stubborn ordinary girlfriend blah blah blah I stopped crushing on him and I somehow thought he's my soulmate cause ever since I was eight, I wanted to get married to an African American cause I'm half African from Algeria and half African American from my mother's side though I took my father's side but you know there are times when you wanna act cool so you lie to people about being an African American.
"Raven" I look at my right side and Roxy was giving me some confused look. "What are you thinking about. You look so lost" Before I could answer "Okay anyway come these sides cause the seniors are training" I look in front and saw them bouncing balls under their legs back and front in a faster way that looked so nice. How do they even do that??
I went to Roxy and joined her with some girls bouncing the ball. They continued to bounce ad they stood in some weird position as if they needed to visit the bathroom or maybe they want boys to see them. Oh girls!
They continued to bounce and I was doing nothing so I asked if I would try as well. I got the ball and tried bouncing too but it kept running and running away until it ran and I lost grip on it.
I chased it until I realized it was going to the
