Chapter 5

Raven's POV
"Raaaavvvv" l hear Russ call me out. In fact yells out. Today's my first day to my new school and l think it may be fine hopefully but l am freaking nervous, anxious, scared l don't know but l'm so nervous.

I have to look presentable. I open my wadrobe and get a red drawstring sweatshirt, black fitted jeans, black chunky sneakers, silver cute necklace, stud earrings and a charm bracelet. Wait am l too much? Nah! Have to look presentable. I put less lip gloss well not a fan of makeup.

I then stand infront of a mirror and see brown small sharp eyes, curly dark hair, small nose, peach lips and a nice figure that l got from my mom.
I love my eyes a lot cause they speak more than my mouth.

I then look back and l sigh. Here we go.

l slope downstairs and l find everyone in the kitchen. Dad and Russ were preparing something as Jay was eating his cereal. "Good morning Rav" he smiles at me cutely yeah he's so cute and adorable. "Good morning Jay" l smile back.

"Good morning dad morning Russ"

"Good morning"

"Yo"  Russ says as he turns to look at me and he then gives me a disgusting look.

"You know you're going to school right" "Yhhhh whatsapp" l look at my outfit. "Am l too much" he nodes with a disgusting look and looks back at the food he was cooking . I just roll my eyes. "You're smart Rav" l look down and see Jay grin at me.

"Aww thanks buddy you're smart too" l smile back "He was flattering you and he didn't mean smart in the brains" Russ teases as l just roll my eyes and dad turns. "You're smart that's okay"

"Come and have breakfast" "No l'm fine am not hungry" l was too nervous to the point of losing appetite "Free pancakes for me" Russ shouts and he puts both his hands up. "No! for us" Jay smirks as he sits next to Jay with the pancakes. I then go to the fridge and picked two apples and apple juice. l love apples a lot. l put them in my bag pack.

"Are you stupid how are you going to go to school do you even know the place. Wait for the bus" "l know the school" l tell my annoying big brother. "Rav don't be mad wait for the bus. Don't act like you know more. Listen to Russ and wait" he gives me a serious face. Russ nodes as l roll my eyes. I sigh as l sit on the couch l really wanted to have a peaceful walk while going to school. Look at the beautiful scenery and just be alone.

Dad was going to work after dropping Jay and Russ who got applied to Berkeley university which was in Berkeley and which took some time so he would remain with the car. Time passed and l was lost in thoughts l have no friends there I may be bullied, l'm nervous l'm scared.

I then ran to the bathroom cause once l'm nervous l want to pee. When l returned dad was holding my bag pack and he looked pretty mad.

"Where were you" he snarls.

Before l could say anything he interrupted me "The bus is already here and you're delaying them. What's wrong with you have your bag and get out" he snarls again. I grab my bag and l ran out.

"Bye Rav"

"Bye Jay"

"Don't get lost this time in the school" l glare at him.

"Bye"

"Bye"

"Bye dad"

"Bye now go"

l then ran to the bus and my eyes met with a nearly fifty year old driver. Before l could greet him. He started the bus and l almost fell then everybody looked at me including the driver.
