Juliette's mom soon came in after speaking with the doctor. She seemed to have been crying, which made Molli feel even more hopeless than she already did. Mr. Renyn stayed right by Mrs. Renyn's side, not taking his eyes off his precious daughter.

Molli looked at Juliette's parents with curiosity, silently asking what the deal was, although she didn't feel comfortable coming out directly asking.

"Molli," started Mrs. Renyn, "I'm sure you'd like to know what's going on."

Molli was silent, but nodded in return.

"Well..." Mrs. Renyn attempted, but failed as she burst into tears.

"I'll explain, honey," said Mr. Renyn as his wife was still weeping. "Juliette...she's not in a good condition. The doctor said if she wakes up she won't be the same girl she we know. The doctor said that she has little brain activity. If she keeps losing it, they will have to take her off life support. She will donate her organs if that is what happens. Pray for her, Molli, pray."

"I will," silently sobbed Molli.

The three took a half an hour of silence to pray to God for a full recovery for their blessing, Juliette. When they finally stopped, someone knocked on the door. Mrs. Renyn rose to answer it.

"Hi," said a girl shyly. "My name is Ashley. I just-um- I wanted to see Juliette."

"Nice to meet you," welcomed Mrs. Renyn. "She's over there. How do you know my daughter?"

"I attended the church retreat, Momentum, this summer in Chicago," said Ashley. "I'm actually from  Springfield, Illinois."

"Did you really travel clear from Illinois to Indiana just to see Juliette?" asked Mr. Renyn.

"Yes. I left the moment I found out," answered Ashley.

"How did you find out?" Mr. Renyn asked.

"Someone called our dorm room chaperone, who called me and the other girls in our dorm."

"Oh ok," said Mr. Renyn. "Please continue on how you know Juliette."

"Well, I ended up in the same dorm as Juliette. She and I just clicked, which is surprising to me because when I first arrived at the retreat, I cut off my heart and feelings from everyone. I'd just been dumped by mom drug addict mother a night ago and I felt like I couldn't really trust anyone, especially since I'd already had a bunch of trust issues.

"But I don't know, I really felt like I could trust Juliette. The more I talked to her the more I realized how kind and caring she was."

A tear slid down Ashley's cheek as she made eye contact with all of us, "I'm serious, she's a huge blessing to me. Her showing that incredible kindness to me helped me see who Jesus is. I honestly believe if I hadn't met her I wouldn't know the Lord. God brought her to me for a reason.

"But anyways, that's how I know her. When I heard what happened I wanted to see her and thank her." Ashley said.

"Thank you," whispered Juliette's mom. "Take all the time you need. We'll all be outside."
