Jules found herself standing at the pearly gates with Meredith. Before she knew it, she saw several people moving toward her and Meredith to embrace her.
The first person to reach Jules was a beautiful lady who she felt connection with, but couldn't quite put her finger on what the connection was. The lady had silky blonde shoulder length hair. The lady seemed ageless and had not one flaw. Jules studied her face until it hit her- it was her Aunt Kimberly who passed away from earth when she was five.
Jules started crying. "Aunt Kim! It's been so long! Almost ten years!"
"Yes, sweetie," calmly smiled Kimberly. "Are you still dancing?"
"I dance every day," said Jules, "just because you always told me to keep dancing. I've won a few dance competitions, thanks to you."
Kimberly beamed. "Oh, Juliette, I'm so proud of you. I knew God would grow you into an incredible, successful young woman. Every day I visit God and ask Him to inspire you and love you. And everyday He does just that. By the way, thanks."
"For what?" Asked Jules.
"For dancing at my celebration of life. God allowed me to watch. It was so beautiful. I remember it all," Kimberly smiled huge. "You danced to amazing grace and revealed to everyone just how amazing God's grace is. I very much appreciate it."
"Oh, Aunt Kim," said Jules, "I'd do anything for you. You've done everything for me. Even in the hardest times of your cancer you took time to be with me and help me dance."
"You're a joy to be around," said Kimberly. "I always told your mother she should've named you Jubilee because it means joy. You've always been so joyful and jubilant. You're a pleasure."
"Thank you," said Jules. "I really appreciate you."
"Thank you, sweetie," said Kimberly as they embraced into a hug.
Meredith came around. "Hello, Kimberly. Beautiful day."
"Everyday with God is beautiful," beamed Kimberly.
"It sure is," agreed Jules. "You know, earlier today I was starting to feel pretty distraught and depressed. I felt confused and helpless. But then I prayed to God and ?He nearly instantly answered my prayer with Meredith. God has been comforting me through this new time. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to be with you again, Aunt Kim. God is so good, even when things seem so bad."
"He sure is, dear," said Kimberly.
"God never fails," added Meredith.
The three remained for a while, soaking in God's glory at the gates of Heaven until Meredith broke the silence. "Kimberly, do you mind if I borrow Juliette for a while? There are some things God asked me to show her."
"Not a problem," smiled Kimberly. "I'll see you guys soon."
