Chapter 17 - The Truth and Ending

* A few hours later *

I was still unconscious, breathing still but bruised. I've finally saved the world from the Metal Virus before it got taken over the whole planet.

I couldn't hear a thing, silence just cover my ears and all I see was just darkness.

. . . .

I feel something on my body. It was...something warm and cozy, like a light shining over me. It made me open my eyes, slowly and painfully. When opening my eyes, my vision was still blurry and fuzzy and at the same time. I blink my eyes a few times to get my vision in focus and that is when I see Espio and Charmy looking at me with worry in their eyes.

Espio would walk over to me and place his hand on my shoulder.

Espio: Vector, are you okay? Can you hear us?

My voice was still weak, but it was getting better now that I gotten some rest.

Vector: Espio...? Charmy...?

One of my Wisps, the Burst Wisp, was happy to see me and hug me. He must have been the one that kept me warm and cozy.

Vector: Hey, hey! Hello my adorable Wisps! So what happened after I was out?

Charmy: We took you back home after Virus escaped from us trying to capture him. He went back to somewhere else.

I groan at my headache as I rub my head.

Vector: Oh, man... How long was I out?

Espio: A few hours. The rest of them went home after the invasion of the Metal Virus.

I got up and look around, looking at the window and seeing that it was dark outside. Guess time does really flies fast.

Vector: (I really have done it. The world is saved from the Metal Virus and now I can have my rest in my home with the Chaotix.)

Charmy: So, Vector, what do you want to do now that you're recovering from your fight?

Charmy was sitting on the couch next to me and smiled while he hugs me.

Vector: I'm going to get some sleep and then I'll, um, I will go race with my friends.

I look at Charmy and Espio, seeing that they're happy. Guess they were right. They aren't disappointed by me joining with Blaze and Silver.

Espio: I'm proud of you, Vector. You did well with the world saving, just like Sonic.

Vector: Thanks, Espio! You and Charmy are the best team I could ever had!

Charmy and Espio went up to me and hug me as I hug them back. I'm glad to have them with me. After a long hug, we let go of each other.

Espio: It's getting late. We should get some sleep.

Charmy: Yep. I'm tired already.

Vector: Me too.

Espio went to his favorite spot in our home and sit down, closing his eyes and falling into sleep. Charmy was sleeping on the couch with me. I rest my body on the couch, close my eyes and fell into a deep sleep while Charmy sleep on my body.

* The next morning *

After I woke up and ate some breakfast, I would head over to Dodon Pa's home, which is a kingdom of tanukis that live here. It was a big kingdom that looks similar to Blaze's home world. I head inside and find Dodon Pa's house, knocking on the door and waiting for the Tanuki to open the door.
