"Do you have a reservation for tonight sir?" The host asks
"Yes under Volkov. It's a party of 7." I respond
"Right this way!" She smiles then grabs us menus and silverware
We all sat down in the large booth
"Who do you keep texting?" JJ asked Yuri
"Teammates and friends."
"You don't have friends."
"Fuck off dickhead!" He bit back
"I don't wanna hear fighting from any of you tonight. We're at a nice restaurant. Don't embarrass us. If you cause a scene here I'll cause an even bigger scene when we get home" Dima warned
"Sorry mom." JJ muttered
"Stop calling me that."
"Just face it, I wear the pants in this relationship." I smirked
He mouthed "Suck my dick" to me
"So how was everyone's first day?" Sergei asked
"I'll go first cause I'll never get a chance to talk if the twins go first." Milo started
"Then speak no one was racing to go moron."
"School sucked. All we talked about were state tests. It's so scary! We had self assessments in ELA and Math. I got a 3 in math and 2 in ELA."
"What is it out of?"
"4! 3 is the lowest you can score to advance to the next grade. I don't wanna do summer school. I have 3 more years of standardize testing." He whined
"I can help you if you're that worried." JJ offered
"Really? Thanks!"
"What about you Yuri?"
"School was school. I have some classes with Leo which made the day bearable. What Milo said was true. They're so fixated on standardized testing it's even stressing me out. I have regents, AP's and the SAT's this year. Aside from being stressed about that I became friends with your bestie's twins."
"My what?" I asked
"Your American bestie."
"His kids go to school with you guys?" Dima asked
"Yeah all 4 of them."
"Elijah and I are just business partners." I told him
"He's probably gonna call you later."
"Why?" I furrow my brows
"The twins may have told their mom we're gonna hangout tomorrow so he's gonna ask if that's true."
"And I'll tell him it's not."
"But-"
"Yuri you're grounded." I deadpanned
"But everyone is going. If you let me go, I'll stay grounded twice as long." He bargained
"You're not going." I said with finality
"This is such bullshit."
"Moving on. Tell us about your day Joey." Sergei continued
"It would've been better if it wasn't for someone." Alessio glared at me
He's been mad at me since I picked him up. I tried asking him but he's been ignoring me.
