"Come on Danny! Hurry up!" Dally yelled to me from downstairs.

"Alright alright I'm comin'." I yelled back while I put on my black converse.

"Geez you take for ever." Dally said as we walked out of Bucks house.

"Well excuse me for being a girl."

"You may be a girl, but your far from it. And what does being a girl have to do with anything?!"

"I may not be a soc, but I do care what I look like. Guys can just pull on a shirt and pants and walk out the door. It's that simple."

"For your information, its not that damn simple little Dan. Us greasers take pride in how we look. We have to looked greased up and tuff."

"Greased up? What does that even mean?"

"It means we got to grease our hair and look tuff."

"I don't get the point in that hair grease. It's disgusting."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah."

That's when Dally put his hand in his hair then yanked it out and rubbed it in mine.

"Dally no!" I shrieked trying to get out of his grasp. "Dally let me go! Cone on Dal!" Dally continued to rub grease in my hair for a few more seconds before he let go.
"Ug really Dal?"

"Yup." He replied looking satisfied.

"I hate you, you know that?"

"Aw no you don't."

"Yes I do." I replied as we entered the Curtis house.

"Who what happened to you two?" Darry gestured to our hair as me and Dally walked in.

"You to had fun last night?" Two-bit smirked.

"Ew! What the hell man?!" I asked disgusted.

"Say that again and I'll beat you. Got it?" Dally growled and Two-but held his hands up in defense and brought his attention back to Micky.

"So do one of you care to explain?" Darry asked us.

"Well Danny over thinks just cause she's s girl, she takes longer to get ready and stuff. She also thinks there's no pride in a guy brings a greaser."

"It does! And I never said that Dallas Winston and you know it. I said that guys can just pull on a shirt and pants and walk out the door.....but not so sure all of us are guys yet."

"Hey!" Ponyboy yelled as he walked downstairs.

"Actually I was talking about Stevie but ya know. Your not quite a guy yet either." I smirked.

"What did you just say?" Steve asked
Walking out of the kitchen.

"I said you aren't quite a guy yet."

"Oh yeah? And how's that?"

"I don't know. You just don't seem manly enough." I shrugged.

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah."

"Well you know what you are?"

I smirked

"Your just a little girl. Your not even Pony's age yet so that makes you a LITTLE girl."

"Yo Steve. Come on man." Dally said.

I looked at Steve for a second before I lunged at him.

"No let me go! Let me at him!" I yelled as I felt two arms go around my wait hauling me off Steve.

I realized Dally had lifted me up and I vegans struggling. "Let me go Dally! Let me at him."

"No Danny. Both of us know very well that you will get hurt."

"No I won't. Dally please!" I begged

"Nope." Dally replied and I stopped struggling and sat down.

"So who want to go to the DQ?" Sodapop asked, walking downstairs.

We all looked at each other and bursts out laughing.
