have you ever felt that wave of happiness and satisfaction after completing something so big?
well, that's how i felt at the moment. i had pretty much transformed my dorm into a gorgeous room. i had hung up candle lanterns, grew some vines up on the ceiling, placed down lavender and rose scented candles in colored jars - lavender colored jar for lavender, and a rosey red colored jar for rose. i think you get the point of the color matches.
i used my magic to change the bedsheets and pillows to a more comfortable set. i had conjured up a fluffy carpet made of soft wolf fur. i'm very sorry to the werewolves, but i had to.
"well, fuck you, Aria. but i guess this is better being alone.", i smirked to myself and turned to the small magic mirror on my dresser by the big glass pane window of my room. i taped pictures of my late relatives who i favored the most onto the wall next to the dresser. weekends are my usual times to speak with my relatives, mostly my grandmother (mother's side, duh).
i've never talked with my father. nor could i talk with him even if i wanted to. the only way i can talk with my passed relatives or dead people's spirits are through pictures of them and my magical mirror. hence why i placed the poctures on the wall next to the dresser.
since tomorrow was a saturday, i planned to have my usual tea time with my grandmother. and hopefully my wizard grandfather joins in as well. if he's not sound asleep in his grave up in the enchanted forest. which he usually is.
for the first time in my entire life, i jumped out of pure fear when i heard my mother's voice boom through my room, "Luna! my dear bloody child."
was i dead already? or is my mom dead and haunting me?
"mom! you scared the living dead out of me!", i exclaimed, walking over to my crystal ball that rested on top of my bed's soft sheets. her figure was through the glass, and she was rather smaller than life size. i picked it up and waved my hand around the crystal ball, a soft orange glow coming from my fingertips as it swirled around. everything around me then dissolved like dust, and it turned to a rather wide range of nothing but lush green trees like the enchanted forest.
i knew it was all a trance like state and nothing was really there. it was just for me to see and speak better with my mother who was also in her trance like state back in the forest, with her own crystal ball as well.
"sorry, darling. i just missed you so much already.", she said, coming close to me. i couldn't touch her, nor could she touch me.
i chuckled, "it's only been a week, mom."
"it feels like forever. it's worse than my hair spell going wrong in the mornings.", she said and i laughed. "so, have you made any friends yet, sweet face?"
i paused for a moment, a grim line forming on my lips before i answered. "yeah, two, i guess."
"who are they? tell me more!"
"well, there's Enid Sinclair. she's an amazing and really sweet werewolf. cute honestly."
"awww"
"and... uh, there's Xavier Thorpe. he's like the only one who's really talking to me right now-"
mom gasps, all dramatically and her eyes wide. "oh! a boy!" i rolled my eyes and crossed my arms, "mom! please!"
"is he cute? a gentlemen?"
"mom, that's not what it's like."
"are you talking to yourself?", a familiar voice of a boy called. it was... Xavier?!
