An Extra-(Ordinary) Adventure of Starla N'Co Episode 3: He's Here!

Chapter 7

The Princess's forehead and neck flooded with sweat beads that eventually flew from its place due to The Princess running at a quick pace, she turned around. Just like what she guessed, Rhys is still after her.

Starla could feel her energy getting depleted, if she stopped. Of course she got caught and the demon would drag her back to the accursed kingdom and her parents.

As she saw another alley on the right side, she turn right into the humid, cold and dirty alle, her wines eyes locked at the, outdoor stairs that attached at the side of the building, Starla took the stairs, her feet moving very quick in the stairs that causing pretty loud metal tapping noise, followed by Rhys.

Meanwhile James and Holly followed Rhys from behind, right before the demon turned right to the alley, all of the eyes could see him go to the alley.

"To the alley!" James pointed forward.

Two of them found Starla and Rhys taking the emergency outdoor stairs on the side of the building.

"They headed toward the rooftops!" Holly pointed.

Starla finally reached the rooftops, she kept running until stopped at the side of the rooftop, The Princess panted, bent over and grabbed her knee firmly.

The demon also reached the rooftop eventually, as he saw Starla looking tired. He took the opportunity by running quickly toward Starla, just a few feets left. Starla turned around, shooting a glowing purple string into Rhys. The string eventually sticks at Rhys's chest, Starla turns 180 degrees, almost throwing the demon out of the rooftops; he is currently hanging on the side of rooftops.

Starla's panted more after those small battles.

"Starla! Starla!" A familiar voice called out her name.

She turned around and found out James and Holly from afar, they approached The Princess, Holly was the one who put both of her hand in Starla's cheeks

"Are you alright, Starla? Are you hurt?" Holly asked with a worried tone.

"I'm fine, I'm fine." Starla pushed Holly lightly "What are you guys doing here? You don't know what you guys are gonna deal with!"

"We're here for you Starla, no matter what. You won't go back to Retnezzia." James put one of his hands on Starla's shoulder.

"No, you only put danger in yourself. I'll take care of him by myself, I told you he's a one-man army! Literal hitman!" Starla warned them.

"If you want to take him down, we'll help! We'll do whatever it is to kick his ass!" James insisted.

"Starla, I want to apologize. I was the one who was responsible for telling him your location, I'm so sorry." Holly rubbed the back of her hair, looking guilty.

"What?"

Right before Starla talked more, Rhys already went back to the rooftop, he narrowed his black void eyes, clenched his sharp teeth and fist, the fire on his head and tails getting smouldering.

"Do you think I'm just gonna fall like that? Are you really that stupid, Starla? And it seems you just brought your human friends here, for what? They won't go anywhere in a mere minute!"

"Crap, he's already here!" Starla stood behind her friends "Save that discussion for later, i'll take care of him!"

"You care alot with your friends, don't you, Starla?" Rhys observed two of Starlas's friends.

"That's right! I do care for them!" Starla answered. "Unlike you, always cheating on me!"

Rhys chuckled. "Well, if you care about them. Try to dodge this!" He spawned his two MP5K on his hand.

Starla's wines eyes widened as she saw the guns being pointed at her and her friends.

"All of you! Take cover!" Starla turned around and almost hugged them.

The demon pulled the trigger, spewing several bullets toward The Princess and her friends. Luckily, Both of her friends could take cover very quickly to a small ventilator, and there's no bullet hitting Starla or even her friends, only the surface of the rooftop.

Rhys laughed out loud. "Chill out, Starla. I'm just having warmup to make my fire more hotter,"

Starla clenched her fist and teeth, frowned. She ran towards Rhys, pointing both of her hands and shooting a light glowing purple string into the demon who stood still. Just before the string completely got near to the demon, something unthinkable happened.

Rhys's body turned into a fire, crawling toward Starla, The Princess's string eventually missed. Rhys used those opportunities to turn himself to normal form, punching Starla's face from below, causing her to almost fall to the floor.

The Princess brushed away her face where she got punched, as Rhys stood in front of her. Starla tried to kick him right on his crotch but Rhys grabbed her legs and stepped right on her stomach, causing her to yell in pain.

"You think you can get away now!? It's a mistake you're escaping from your kingdom, Starla!!"

Starla's friends take a look from behind the ventilator, everyone feels pity toward Starla.

"How can we help her? She's in danger now." Holly asked.

"If only I brought my guns before I came here..." James felt helpless.

Rhys is still stepping on Starla's stomach, now she is screaming in agony. Until she eventually shoots her string into Rhys's forehead. But she can't pull the string since The Princess is almost subdued by the demon. The Demon only responded by giggling at her action.

"He's literally a walking campfire, which is mean..." James observed for a moment

"His weakness was water!" Holly exclaimed, looked at James

"Or maybe anything that could extinguish the fire." James added

"Let's find anything that could kick his ass off!"

James and Holly eventually left the place where they cowering, both of them scattering around, trying to find an appropriate weapon to defend Rhys, not before they could find any fire extinguisher or even water around the rooftop, Rhys seeing them, he knew what they were gonna do.

Rhys eventually stops stepping on Starla's stomach, he kicks her face two times, causing her nose bleeding, he spawns his MP5K on both of his hands, first off he shoots Holly, the skater girl running very quick until she takes cover on the other ventilator.

"Face me, Coward!" Rhys taunted.

Meanwhile, James was still lurking around while Rhys didn't see her yet, eventually He found the fire extinguisher that was attached to the wall of the stairs place. He grabbed it, pulling the pin and the nozzle, and charged toward the fire demon.

James spraying the fire extinguisher content into the demon who still didn't realized her presence, eventually got his skin frozen and he yelled in pain., then he stopped spraying him

Hearing those screams, Holly comes out from her hideout, waving both of her arms in the sky to James. "James! My skateboard!"

James nodded, he put the skateboard on the floor, kicking it towards Holly, as the skateboard arrived next to her, Holly grabbed it and running toward Rhys who still got hurt over his numb freezing skin, she swung her skateboard right behind Rhys's head, causing him knocked out and fallen to the floor.

Holly, who still panted looked in awe with her action, "Wow, can't believe i hit him once!"

James helped Starla-Who semi-unconscious right now to stand up, they're carrying Starla's arm. Now everyone looked at Rhys in frown, while Starla still wanted to show her angry face but ended up only panting.
