An Extra-(Ordinary) Adventure of Starla N'Co Episode 3: He's Here!

Chapter 10

She approached Rhys and struggling to lift his shoulder, she turned around and glanced at her friends.

"What are you guys waiting for? Can you please help me?" Starla pleaded.

James was the one who approached Starla, then he lifted The Demon's leg, now completely being lifted by his opponent.

Rhys's black void eyes slowly blinking at the almost orange and cloudy sky, he is still breathing but it seems much more slower.

"Ok, bring him carefully towards the portal," Starla instructed.

Starla and James moved Rhys's body right to the portal while Holly and Jenny focused on them, staying in the spot.

"Portal..."

Starla and James stopped as they heard Rhys say the word.

"What is it, Rhys? What's up with the portal?" James raised one of his eyebrows.

"Don't listen to him, James."

"Activate..."

"What? What did he want to activate?" James looked at The Demon.

"Just keep going, James. We almost getting close,"

"Self...destruct..."

They almost stopped as they heard those words from Rhys's mouth, a few seconds later. A beeping sound comes from the portal device, causing every eye to glance at it, the portal vanishes and the device still keeps beeping, Starla stared at The Demon.

"What the hell did you just do?!" Starla shouted.

Rhys only gave a small smile at her, only making The Princess slammed his head to the ground, she clenched her hand and teeth, this also causing James to get surprised, however, he looked at the dysfunctional portal device.

"Starla, the device."

Before Starla unleashed her anger more, she turned around and looked at the device, the device kept emitting beeping noise and electric sparks around it.

"Starla, what happened to those devices?" Holly pointed out.

"It's gonna explode, everyone. Evacuate from the premises!"

Three of the girls entered the house, James tried to drag Rhys to his house, eventually. Everyone entered the house, Starla, Holly, Jenny and James stared from the glass door, waiting for the device to explode.

"Is the explosion huge, Starla?" Holly asked.

"I never know if the device has self destruction, so i never saw how big the explosion is," Starla shook.

"Oh God please, don't let the explosion destroy my home and surround it," James prayed.

"Why don't you just throw the device away before that thing explodes," Jenny suggested.

Just before everyone acted, the beeping getting louder, Holly, James and Starla hiding behind the sofa, Jenny decided to run towards the device.

"Jenny! The hell are you doing?! Get back here!" James shouted.

Too late, Jenny already approached the device, grabbed it and was ready to throw it.

However, the beeping became louder and the device exploded, but the explosion is much like a typical electronic explosion, even though the explosion didn't cause mass destruction around it. It cost Jenny's hand, she screamed in pain as the device exploded, the flakes of the device also hit her face.

"Oh no, no, no, no!" Starla approached Jenny along with the device.

Both him and Holly also approached The Smoker Girl, they examined her wounded hand, meanwhile Starla grabbed the already broken device, she dropped it in quick as her hand felt hot, she blew her hand.
