A normal night, with the moon shining brightly as ever enough to illuminate all the lanterns in the world.
There, we have Trickster..a simple mischievous and crazy baku. Ah, how he loved consuming dreams and hopes..that was the price of making a wish for him after all! This world to him, wasn't so colorful..it was mostly monochrome especially in tastes as well! He spun his cane, walking on a roof to enter within the open window of a small house in this city. The light inside was just dim, and more than enough to tell that a hopeful sleeper was within the bed...ready for dreams to be consumed.
"Ah....my favorite dreamer..what a wonderful sight~!" He softly murmured under his breath, careful not to wake them up.
The dreamer had white hair, that seemed short, but could be also considered as medium length. Purple tips contrasted with their ghostly wispy hair, and their soft eyelashes glistened with the bedroom light...they looked very peaceful while sleeping, almost as if they were dead.
Trickster walked quietly, there was something about this dreamer he couldn't even describe, he fixed his top hat and fixed his spikes. It was meal time, and he was going to do it properly.
"Goodnight dreamer, I do hope you're sleeping well tonight." He titled their head up with his gloved finger, and inched down to kiss their forehead and grant their wishes, monochrome wise.
Suddenly, the peaceful sleeper opened their eyes in a flash, and grabbed both of Trickster's hands pinning him to the bed in a defense matter. "So you're the one who's been messing with my bedroom." They gave a cold glare with a intimidating voice, pushing Trickster more down.
Trickster NEVER EVER EVER in his baku life has been pinned down, or even caught by a dreamer, he himself was supposed to be a myth! And it makes it worse because his record is so good at being stealthy, that even his craziness sometimes can be concluded as a myth. "W-WHAT?!" His seriousness faded and he let out a flustered yelp. Trickster has never felt these types of confusing emotions like panic or fluster, it was more colorful than monochrome and he did not know how to feel about it. "Get...off me, dreamer!!" He rolled off, grabbing his cane (well, trying too.)
"Wait a minute...I know you..." Flower took off his hat, placing it aside. "LEN?! What are you even doing in my bedroom?! Y-You're Trickster? You're a baku..?"
Trickster gulped, his alter ego had been revealed. "W-what? Who's Len?! I'm not sure what you're even talking about. I suggest you let me go...NOW!!" He glared at the dreamer, "Or you might get hurt!" He smirked, doing his best to be intimidating.
"Oh please.." Flower let go, still concerned and staring at Trickster in curiosity. "You're a baku Len...?
"The name's Trickster, and my job here is to consume dreams and hopes. I'm also here to grant some wishes, until someone interrupts that!" He crossed his arms, gripping his cane tightly. Trickster was a bit fazed from what happened so there was a hint of pink on his cheeks processing what happened. He put a finger to his mouth in a shushing way. "So..honey, let's just keep this to ourselves alright~?" He winked trying to avert her attention away.
Flower scoffed and rolled her eyes, "Seriously..? Well, you could've told me you were at least a baku..Trickster. I thought a robber came in or something...seeing so many foot prints but nothing stolen!" Flower tapped their foot on the floor. "And...sorry for that. I didn't mean too." Trickster shrugged it off, "It's fine, whenever they see someone like me, I bet everyone would go crazy at this baku's charm~!" He was clearly teasing.
Flower looked, "Look Trickster..." She sat beside him, scooching towards him. "Do you at least remember we're dating? When you're...well, Len?" Trickster looked at Flower, and heavily blushed. "Y-Yeah my dreamer..Just can't say those terms being a baku. But I will say you're my special dreamer." Trickster took his hat back. "Besides, tonight was wild! I thought I'd never get caught."
"Never get caught with those footprints you leave in my room? Clean your shoes..." Flower giggled and kissed his forehead, which Trickster blushed very hard too. "A-Alright...if you say so. My next attempt of eating your hopes and dreams will be successful!" He smiled brightly. "You better watch out though, I won't be so careless next time~!" He winked once again, this time in a mischievous alluring way.
"I'll keep an eye out." Flower patted his hat and kissed his cheek. "Goodnight Trickster, I love you."
He slowly hid his face into his hat, turning red. "G-Goodnight to you as well my darling dreamer..."
