Len looked down moving his legs back and forth vacantly, having the most vacant expression on his face. He had only just woken up, but he was already bored with his life at that moment. He knew it was because of the emotions he was experiencing and the sickness he was feeling, and he was not surprised by it. However, for some reason, these feelings were so powerful that they had a tendency to be overwhelming, leaving him without even a single shred of motivation to go on living, let alone continue doing something productive in his life. For whatever reason, this caused Len to feel an unexplainable emptiness that felt like it wasn't even him who felt it. So much for feeling like himself, the part that was able to do things without having to think about them. Even when he had time off to do nothing, he usually had plenty of things to think about. He could always tell when he was thinking, and sometimes it would annoy him.... eventually making him more sicker physically than he already felt.

He grabbed his forehead in pain, clenching it. Gazing towards the other side of the bed, there Flower was sleeping soundly, breathing softly. Len's vision started becoming blurrier, hence... it was the middle of the night and he had bad insomnia, more sickly... Not wanting to wake Flower, he slowly hopped down starting to walk quietly and frail to the bathroom. However, as soon as he got to the doorway, he stopped walking. It seemed like he couldn't move his feet. In fact, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't walk anymore. The numbness and nausea in his body made it difficult for him to keep moving, and he ended up sliding all the way to the ground leaving a huge thump... He was unconscious.

Flower awoke to the noise, lifting their head up to see what it was all about. "Huh? Who's there..?" In a groggy tone, as they had just awakened. They rubbed their eyes, yawning, trying to get rid of the sleepiness in them, looking around the room to try and identify where the noise came from. "Len?" With furrowed brows, they looked into the direction of the door seeing Len, slumped over on the floor, motionless. Immediately they rushed over, grabbing Len's arm. "Len?!" They shook him lightly, hoping to awaken him. But it didn't work. "Are you ok?! What's going on!? Wake up!" After shaking him again more harder than last time, Flowers face showed slight panic as their breathing turned fast and irregular. They took a deep breath as they tried to calm down, holding onto Len tightly. Flower's hands loomed over Len's forehead, feeling the immense heat emitting from him. Len had came down with a huge fever. They had heard that some people got really sick at nights if they had been neglectful or not taking care of themselves. But Len never told any of them, so he had gotten away with everything. Yet, now, this is what happened. And Flower was terrified. A strange smell came from Len, a putrid scent... It seems Len had vomitted while unconscious. Flower huffed, grabbing Len and picking him up from the floor, opening the bathroom door, immediately washing his face with all their strength. Flower sighed, panting slightly as they placed Len on the sides of the bathtub, making him sit up a little while holding on.
"It's gonna be okay Lenny..." Flower caressed his cheek, although he was unconscious.. Flower wanted to still comfort him in anyway. They grabbed him again, now making him slightly lay on the bed. "Alright.." They looked at his clothes, unsure what to do as blush grew on their cheeks. "I think.. I need to take them off." They said to themselves, breathing in and closing their eyes shut as they immediately grabbed clothes in a respectful manner, and changed his shirt without hesitation.. continuing to hold him gently. "You're gonna be fine Len... Everything will turn out alright, don't worry." Flower said, hugging Len gently. Their face remained concerned, except for the slight red hue, which faded away as they held Len close, gently kissing his forehead. "I'll get medicine for you.. first thing in the morning my banana boy." They caressed his hair, placing him down gently. "First.. I need to check the temperature.." They looked around, in case there was a thermometer somewhere in the house, and they searched the rooms, coming across a small cabinet which contained a few medical items, among others. As Flower opened up the cabinet, it was filled with different types of medicine...but half..eaten? All of them seemed to me messily picked up and badly put back together. It was even half empty! Flower grabbed a container, slowly realising...

"Len..d-did you overdose?!" They panicked to themselves, now starting to be a little frustrated... with themself and him. They immediately grabbed the thermostat, holding the flu medicine in their other hand closing the cabinet. "How many times has Len overdosed?! How could he be so careless?!" They asked, as tears started falling from their eyes. They wiped them away as they held the medication in their hand, shaking slightly. "I'm sorry Lenny..." They sighed softly as more tears fell.. their only motivation was to take care of Len, and themselves.

As morning light streamed in, the passage of time became evident. Flower's hand rested gently upon Len's chest, drawing him closer. Len stirred from his sleeping, his awakening a fragile and gradual process... it seems Flower was with him, that's all he needed. He turned around weakly, hugging them in his embrace slowly going out of conscious again.. as faint sounds of his name being called could be heard.. finally everything going silent.
