Peaceville Park.....

"Why does he have to be so perfect?" Kim swooned. Laney scoffed.

The two girls were on the park bench working on a paper that was due next week. Yes they were thattat much ahead. And of all the places to go, they had to come here.

Grojband was out here, just like any other highschool student. It was like a hangout for highschoolers. There was a hot dog stand and two soda vending machines plus a water fountain.

Laney peeked over. Why were they all perfect? How were they all perfect? Corey was standing leaning against a lamp post, Kin was sitting on the bench with his elbows on his knees on his phone, Kon was flirting with Trina against a tree, and Larry was also sitting on the bench with his arms outstretched and his shades on. They all wore black.. hmm big surprise there.

The flirting with Trina thing kinda werided Corey out. That was because Kon was a junior and Trina was on her second year of college, but hey no judge here so...

The only color that wasn't black was Corey's orange signature beanie.

He was on his phone and grinning like an idiot. She tilted her head... He was kinda cute when he smiled.... Laney blinked. What? Cute? Corey? She shook her head. She would not stoop to those snooty popular girls level and go gaga over some bad punk pretty boy.

Laney didn't know she was staring until Corey met her gaze. He smiled and winked. Laney's cheeks tinted a shade of pink. She scrunched up her nose and stuck out her tongue. Quickly she whipped her head around.

"Lanes? Are you okay?" Kim asked. Laney looked down on her homework.

"Yeah, but quit staring at your future boyfriend, we should work in this," Laney smiled. Kim looked at her with her mouth parted in surprise. Then playfully hit her with her notebook.

"S-shuddup..." she told her blushing, but she still smiled, "Red." Laney stuck her tongue at Kim. The two giggled. However, the reminder of Laney's little nickname reminded her of her picture. It was still there in her bag. She hesitantly peeked over to it. Again, she shook her head.

Corey...

He looked down at his phone, and grinned. Carrie was sending him photos again. She was wearing her orange lingerie and her own beanie. Her several poses and screenshots would have any boy down on their knees, but for some reason he wasn't.. well attracted to it as much. But her attempts of seducing him made him smile. He shook his head and turned off his ringer. His father's several messages were beginning to bother him. he put it in his back pocket and looked up.

It was Red. she was staring at him and for some reason he felt ping in his chest. Her over use on her eye make up made her green eyes pop and her red hair looked light, soft, and framed her little face perfectly. But not wanting to lose his cool he winked. He noticed her small blush and almost laughed when she stuck out her tongue.

Then he noticed her friend. Kat? Kria? Oh no it was.. Kim! Kim.... she was cute enough and sorta reminded him of his own nerd-like friend Kin. Their names even kinda fit. Although, Kin was very popular and didn't seem too crazy about her.

Corey nudged Kin's foot. The glasses-eyed boy looked up with a sideways look. He was actually not that bad looking for a nerd. With his messy black hair, black rimmed glasses, black T-shirt that fit his lean frame, and math skills made any girl weak in the knees.

"What?" He asked. Corey nodded to the duo on the benches. Kin followed his gaze.

"You know those two nerds?" He asked nonchalantly. He didn't want to sound too interested. Well he wasn't... I mean there was a big gap between her and him. She was a good girl study bug and he was A punk rock bad boy. Yeah.... so of course he wasn't interested... Jesus, why was he over thinking this anyway?
