Chapter 5

I heard his car door slam and drive away. A single tear fell down my face as I picked up the necklace he gave me. I haven't put it on yet so I decided now would be a perfect time. As I latched it together a strong scent hit my nose. It smelled like pine trees and axe. It smelled like Grimm, but it smelled so strong like he was in front of me.

I ignore it and laid on my bed listening to music, but I soon fell asleep.

"Trinity Honey, wake up." She shook me. "Wake up it's time for school." She said. 

I got up slowly and went to the bathroom and looked at myself. The bags under my eyes and my hair is a mess. I decided to take a quick shower. I stripped my shirt off and my pants staring at myself in the mirror. I sighed, I look so fat. I pinched my belly and turned away from it. I can't look at 'it' anymore. I took my shower, blew my hair dry and straightened it. Then got dressed in a band tee and black skinny jeans with red vans. I grabbed my backpack off the table and swung it over my shoulder.

"Bye, mom ! I'm walking to school today!" I said. 

"Okay, Hun! Have fun!" She said. 

I smiled, today will be a good day.

I walked into the woods to go on the trail to school and begin my walk.

I stop walking when I see a beautiful wolf perched on a log by the lake.

I slowly walk by it and sit next to it. I stroak it's fur and it licks my cheek. The similar tingles went through my body making me suddenly stop. He whines and I smile, "I have to go to school buddy. I'll try to walk home today after school, so be here." I giggled and he rubbed his head into my chest making me gasp as the tingles spread there. I patted his head and got up walking the rest of the way to school.

Nothing interesting happened today but as I was walking to the doors to leave, someone wrapped their hand around my mouth and pulled me into the janitors closet. I shrieked and tried to hit his chest but he grabbed my fists and hugged me. "Calm down baby, It's just me." He said .

"Tyler!" I said. 

He laughed and kissed my cheek, "That's my name." He said. 

"What are you doing?!" I asked. 

"I wanted to see you." He said. 

"And seeing me in the hallway is too much?" I asked. 

"No, it's not enough. I wanted it to be fun." He said. 

"It wasn't." I said and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Yes, it was. For me at least." He said. 

I giggled. "Fine it was fun but I really have to go. I promised someone I would see them today." I said. 

"Who?" He asked. 

"Well, It's not a someone more like a something." I said. 

"What?" He asked. 

"A dog." I said. 

"A dog?" He asked. 

"Yes, a dog. " I said. 

"Are you lying to me?" He asked. 

"No, I promise I'm not lying" I said. 

He opened the door and I tried to run out the doors but he caught me by my waist.

"Not yet. I want a hug at least." He said. 

I wrapped my arms around him and and hugged him tightly. Once he let me go I ran all the way to the lake. I stopped when I see the wolf sitting on the same log from this morning.

I whistled to him and he look over at me. He started wagging his tail as he ran up and jumped on me making me fall. He began licking my face and the tingles shot through everywhere. I stayed stiff for a moment then tried hard to ignore them. I talk to the wolf about a lot. I talked about Tyler, which he growled at. Then I talked about Grimm which he wagged his tail at.

I heard someone clear their throat and I turned to see Tyler with a smirk on his face, "You weren't lying."

"I don't lie." I stood up.

He strode over with a smirk on his face and kept walking toward me as I backed away from him. His eyes were a different color and his muscles looked bigger.

"Tyler What are you doing?" I asked. 

He just kept walking toward me.

I tripped over something and fell flat on my back and hit my head on the ground. I sat up trying to scoot away from him until I heard growing and the wolf jump in front of me. The wolf jumped on top of Tyler but Tyler threw him onto the ground. I shut my eyes after I heard the loud yelp and then bones cracking.

"Stay away from her!" I look over and see a completely shirtless Grimm.

"Or what? You'll fail me?" he chuckled.

Grimm ran over and picked me up bridal style. The pounding in my head wouldn't stop and I couldn't keep my eyes open then we walked over to Tyler, "Just touch her again and see where you end up."

With that, I shut my eyes and drifted to sleep.
