3rd POV
On a very cloudy day, where you cant see the blue sky for miles and hear the thunder of a storm threatening to tear up anything in its path, Kakashi Hatake the infamous copy ninja was on his way back to the village in hopes of beating the storm.
As he got closer to the village, mile by mile, the storms threats only seemed to get larger and larger. 'Damn, its starting to rain' Kakashi thinks as rain begins to fall from the now black clouds.
He quickens his pace and just meters away from him, a lightning bolt strikes a tall tree causing it to topple over.
Just when he is around 5 minutes away from the village something catches his eye.
He stops and looks over in that direction to find a unconscious girl laying down on top of a rock. The girl only looks about 12, and didn't have any sort of regulation headband. And yet as Kakashi drew closer to the girl, he couldn't help but feel a strong presence coming from the girl.
As the rain seems to get heavier and heavier, and he stares at the girl. He notices all her wounds, and without proper treatment she would die. 'She's only a kid, I can't just leave her out here.' The ninja thinks with a sigh.
He picks the girl up and temporary wraps her head with a piece of clothing and rushes to the leaf to find help for this girl.
Y/n POV
I awake to the sound of voices, and a throbbing feeling in my head and stomach. I attempt to open my eyes to figure out where I am, but the lights are far too bright.
After a few minutes my eyes flutter open and I see a middle aged man sitting next to me on a chair reading some book.
"Where am I.." I say with a pathetic, scratched up voice. The man looks up and places his book down. "A hospital." He answers.
I sit up and instantly lay back down due to the sharp pains in my stomach. "Easy there." He says while standing up.
He leaves the room for a few moments and a old man wearing a big red and white hat walks in with him.
"What am I doing in a hospital." I ask. "We will ask the questions here." The old man says.
"Who are you." He asks. Who am I? I... don't know actually.. Y/n.. is all I remember.
"Y/n." I answer. "Last name?" The old man says. "I... don't know.." I say trying to dig into my memory. Nothing, I don't remember anything.
"What do you mean you don't know." The middle aged man says. "I can't remember.. all I remember is waking up here." I reply
I sit up slowly trying to be careful of my wounded stomach.
"Listen, we don't exactly have time for games." The old man says. "Now tell me your last name." He pushes.
"Look I don't know! As much as I would love to remember I can't! I only remember waking up in this stupid hospital!" I snap.
The old man sighs and nods his head. "Very well than, I'll be back tomorrow." The man says as he walks out with the middle aged man.
'Who are these people.' I think and just then I realize that someone else is in the room. I look over in the corner and see an average looking man.
'Do they think I'm a threat or that I'm lying?!' I think while laying back down. Within minutes I fall back asleep as if I hadn't slept in 6 days.
3rd POV
The hokage and Kakashi walk out of the hospital and back to the office. "What are you going to do if she keeps refusing to say her last name sir." Kakashi asks as the 3rd hokage sits down.
"I'll have to bring in the investigation unit." He says sighing. "So you'll resort to torture than?" Kakashi asks a bit surprised by his response.
"Of course not, she's a child." He answers. "I'll use Yamanaka's abilities." He finishes.
"Isn't that Ino's father?" Kakashi asks, and the hokage nods in response.
After a few moments of silence Kakashi says "sir, when I found this girl and even just earlier, I sensed some kind of powerful presence." The hokage looks at him and replies with "indeed, I felt i too." 'That's why she's so suspicious.' The hokage thinks.
"Well sir, if it turns out she is telling the truth. I would like to take her and have her as a student under team 7." Kakashi requests.
The hokage raises his eyebrow and nods his head. "Very well, if she truly knows nothing then you can take her."
Kakashi bows his head and thanks the hokage and is shortly after dismissed.
