Death of Hokage (7)

Y/n POV

I awake to the sound of running around. I sit up and rubs my eyes. "Naruto, what's the rush.?" I say as I see him in a clear hurry.

"I have to get the the chunin exam site!! Today the last tests are being held!!!" He says.

"Oh, Alrighty what is the test" I ask. "Can't talk! Gotta go im late!!!" He says running out the door.

I shake my head smilling slightly. 'Well I guess everyone is going to be busy today then.' I think as I get up and gather my stuff.

I go to my house and put my stuff back where it's supposed to be.

'What am I supposed to do all day?' I wonder as I lay on my back.

I stare at the roof for a little while and end up dozing off.
I awake to a rumbling and crashing sound.

"What the..?" I say getting up. I look out the window and see this big kind of dome above the direction Naruto was running to.

'Must be apart of the chunin exams.' I think as I decide to finally change out of my pajamas.

I go into the bathroom and change. 'I saw a forest nearby, I'll go explore that.'

I walk out of my house after I lock it and begin walking in the forest.

As I walk I keep hearing banging and crashing. I keep telling myself it's apart of the chunin exams, but I've got a horrible feeling.

I wander around the woods hoping to find something interesting.  However I don't find a single thing. I end up jumping up in a tree and falling asleep.

I wake up hours later, qnd it's already getting dark. I get up and walk back to the village.

I blink and stare as I walk through the village that had much damage delt to it.

"What the hell.." I mutter as I quicken my pace.  I dont hear any kind of fighting, infact its quite quiet

I rush home and knock on Narutos door. No answer. "He should've been home by now.." I say out loud.

Maybe he got hurt during the Chunin exams. I walk to the leaf hospital and to the front desk.

"Is there a Naruto Uzumaki?" I ask and the lady checks the list. "Oh yes, in room ____"

"Thank you." I say as I go to that room. I see that he is sitting up and staring out the window with minor injuries.

"Naruto. What happend to the village?! I'm so confused I went for a walk. Fell asleep and came back to the village in pieces!!!"

He looks at me and blinks. "The sand attacked us, did you really not know that?!" He says.

"No!! I had no idea! What happend. Is everyone okay?!" I say walking over to him.

He pauses for a few moments and says "The hokage is dead."

I stare at him. "What.." I say.
"He died while fighting Orochimaru." Narutos says.

I see the clear look of pain on his face so I decide to push it no further.

"I see.. are you going to be alright?" I say placing a hand on his shoulder.

"His funeral is tonight, will you go with me." He asks. "Of course, I'm not going to miss that. And besides! If you need someone's shoulder to cry on it's going to be mine." I say jokingly.

He looks at me and gives a fake smile and looks back out the window. 'Oh my God, why did I say that.. he just lost somebody important to him."

"I'm sorry, I've never really known how to take deaths.. I don't mean to be insensitive." I say sitting next to.

"You fine, I'm just going to miss him ya know." He says.

We both head to our own houses and get ready for the funeral.

Shortly after, everyone then begins arriving at where the funeral is being held. I decide to stand next to Naruto.

I look around and see only a few familiar faces. A old man  then begins saying some words but my mind drifts off.

I come back and see the little boy besides up sobbing. I look over at Nqruto and he's just staring down at the boy.

A middle aged man then begins hugging him. Naruto then asks why people risk their lives for others.

This leads to the man going on about something. After we all head up qnd lay a white rose up there.

When it's time for me qnd Naruto to go up I take his hand in mine and walk up there. He glances at me as I do, but he tightens his grip on my hand.

We both grab a white rose and place it down. We then walk back. People begin talking and the rain stops and all that good stuff.

I look at Naruto and that shine in his eyes has returned. I notice out hands are still holding and blush.

Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura begin walking away and waiting for Naruto. He then runs over with rips our hands away.

Halfway there he looks back and tilts his head. "Are you coming Y/n?"

I smile at him and say, "Nah, I'll let you four go do whatever."

He looks at me strangley but nods. I then walk home taking in the damage that the village has sustained.

I arrive home, thankful that I still have one. It's been a bit of a day so I decide I'll go to sleep early.

I take a hot shower and get into bed. 'Do I really like him, I've only known him for a few weeks.' I think with a sigh.

'It's too soon to tell I suppose, but if I do ill just accept it I guess.' I think staring at the roof.

I smile sadly when I remember what he said at the ramen shop about Sakura. 'It can't be helped I suppose.'

'I'm still clueless about the details of all this, I'll ask Naruto some other time..'
I turn on my side and fall asleep.

I havnt posted in two days, because I just havnt. No excuses. This chapter is just eh. Sad, weird, and just dotn make sense. But hey, it's my story qnd if u read it then read it lol just accept my story will never make sense.
