A New Friend. (8)

Y/n POV

I wake up and get dressed. I want to ask Naruto about the details of last night. I walk out and knock on the door.

A few seconds later Naruto walks out with a small bag on his back. "Oh hey Y/n! What's up?" He says smiling.

"I was wondering what happend last night on your part?" I say. He smiles slightly.

"Sorry Y/n, I'll explain another time. I'm going with Jaraiya to find someone." He says. "Oh, okay! No problem, bye!!" I say letting him pass.

And now I have nothing to do. I decide to take a walk down the streets and see him rebuilding is coming.

While walking I accidentally bump into somebody and they shove me back. By the sudden movement I suddenly get flashes of what it seems old memories.

I see a table getting knocked over by a angry and frightened man. And a woman screaming something at him. It seems the man is coming at me.

I remember the sound of constant rain. Then the man raises his hand and I'm brought back to reality.

I get up and brush myself off. What was that.. I rub my forehead and feel a oncoming headache.

I should tell Kakashi about this. I think for a moment and walk to his house. It's his day off, but I need to say something before I forget.

He opens the door not in uniform, and in fact only wearing pants and the huge mask.

"Oh Y/n, can I help you?" He says. "Kakashi, I had a flashback. And I figured you might want to hear about this."

He widens his eyes and nods his head. He then waves for me to come in. I walk in looking around. Pretty basic, but clean and nice.

I sit on the couch. "Would you like some tea?" He asks. "I'm all good, thank you." I reply.

He sits down and looks at me. "So y/n, what was this flashback like."

I think for a moment. "I remembered a frightened, but angry man standing up so quickly that he knocked over the coffee table that was in front of him. He came at me and a woman was screaming at him to stop.. and for some reason, I just remember the constant sound of rain fall." I say thinking about my words.

Kakashi is quiet for a moment then says, "constant rain?" "Yeah, as if rain was normal on a daily basis." I say.

"Y/n, is it possible that you were from the village hidden in the rain. The land that's always weeping, they would say."

I think long and hard. "I don't know Kakashi, that's the first time I've gotten a flashback like that." I say.

"Alright y/n, thank you. Please, let me know if you have any more of these flashbacks." He says.

"Mhm, will do!" I say. After a few moments of silence he then says. "So how have you been settling in, are you getting along with the other three?"

"Oh yeah! Sakura is nice when u get to know her, Sasuke is a little less of a jerk. And Naruto I totally misjudged him!" I say smiling when I talk about Naruto.

"Yeah, that goof really surprises people." He says scratching the back of his head. "Yeah, he's really nice and loyal! He's also very passionate!!" I say smiling.

Kakashi looks at me then says. "You like him don't you Y/n."

I blink and feel as my face temperature rises. "NO WAY!!! I ONLY MET HIM A FEW WEEKS AGO!!" I say loudly.

"And besides he likes Sakura!! So if for some reason I did! There's 0 percent chance.." I say mumbling that last part.

"Well y/n, he can surprise anyone at any time. You never truly know with him." He says smiling.

"I see, thanks Kakashi! I'll leave ya be now." I say getting up. "Alright Y/n goodbye." He says.

I nod and walk out. I walk around trying to figure out what I should do.

As I'm looking around at the buildings I accidentally bump into somebody. I catch myself and look at the guy I bumped into.

He has white hair, with a long loosened ponytail. "I'm sorry, that was my fault! I wasn't watching where I was going." I say laughing a scratching my head.

"No your fine, it is I as well who wasn't looking forward." The boy says. "You look about my age, is it rude to ask how old you are?"

"Not at all. I'm Neji and I'm age 13." He says. "Nice to meet too Neji, I'm Y/n!" I reply.

"So your the famous Y/n Naruto was blabbering about at the exams." Neji says. "Huh? He was what?" I say tilting my head.

"Naruto, as we was fighting he kept bringing up you." He says. "Oh, haha I see. I'm team 7 new teammate." I say smiling.

"I see, you don't look all that special." He says plainly. "That's not nice!" I say frowning.

"I apologize, Naruto only recently made me realize things." He says. "No problem? Well, do you want to be my friend Neji?" I say smiling.

He looks at me a little wide eyed. "You hardly know me, and you want to be friends" He says. "Of course, that's how friends are made silly!"

He looks at me and nods. "Very well, we are friends now." He says. "Awesome!! Do you want to hang out ?" I say.

"That sounds enjoyable Y/n, but I was going to meet with my team for a quick mission. How about tomorrow?" Neji says.

"Yeah! Sounds fun! Cya Neji!" I say smiling. "Farewell Y/n." We both walk away.

I decide to just make a ramen in a cup when I arrive home. I eat and then hop into a shower. After that I climb into bed.

'That Neji guy was very attractive, maybe he will get my mind off of Naruto.' I think jokingly. I cuddle up in my blankets and shortly after drift off into the dream world.
