Redfur walked towards the leader of Thunderclan. "Leafflower has green cough," she said. "Oh Starclan forbid it, she's so old," Fairystar muttered. "Do what ever you can to save her. I've known her for so long, I don't know what I'd do without her." "I'll try my best to save her," Redfur said. "Be sure no one else gets sick, okay?" Fairystar mumbled. "I will," Redfur said. She gave her leader a worried look and went back to her den. "Sparpaw!" Fairystar shouted. "What's wrong?" Sparpaw asked, while he ran to his mentor. "I want to hunt with you," Fairystar answered. "Alright!" Sparpaw said, with an excited sparkling in his eyes. They left the camp. "I smell a mouse," Sparpaw mumbled. "Go get it. I see a bunny," Fairystar said. Both of them sneaked up to their own prey. Fairystar jumped on the bunny and killed it. "I've got it! I've got it!" Sparpaw shouted, when he catched the mouse. "Great job, Sparpaw," Fairystar praised him. Sparpaw purred proudly at his mentors word.

Lilyfeather laid in her den, she stretched. "Lilyfeather, come!" Cherryshell yelled from outside. She peaked into Lilyfeather's den. "I'll come later," Lilyfeather said. "Fine," Cherryshell mumbled. "I had a very long day, yesterday. Sorry Cherryshell," she said. "It's okay, I suppose. I understand," her sister said. "That's nice," Lilyfeather mumbled. Cherryshell walked away and Lilyfeather yawns. She curled up comfortably in her den and Whitefoot coughed. "Are you okay, Whitefoot?" Lilyfeather asked sleepy. "I'm fine, don't worry," Whitefoot said, while coughing again. "Alright, if it gets worse go to see Redfur. Please," Lilyfeather muttered. "There's nothing wrong with me," Whitefoot said stubbornly. She coughed again. "Let's hope so," Lilyfeather said. A little while later she fell asleep again.

Fairystar and Sparpaw got back from hunting, with a lot of prey. Fairystar had a mouse, a bunny, a squirrel and a sparrow. Her apprentice had a mouse, a dove and some sort of black bird. It was his second time hunting, so he had done extremely good. "Fairystar!" Palefur shouted. "What's up?" Fairystar said. "Would you want to join the border patrol?" he asked. "Sure, who else are going?" Fairystar said. "Forestpelt, Jumppaw, Scorpionfeather, Owlclaw and Flyblaze. And Salmonheart is leading the patrol," Palefur answered. "Alright, I'll see you later," Fairystar said. She joined the patrol. "We are going to patrol across the Shadowclan border and the Riverclan border. So let's go," Salmonheart said. "Good, I don't trust Shadowclan. Not at all," Scorpionfeather muttered. "Don't be like that Scorpionfeather! I have lived in Shadowclan, together with my brother and now he's the leader. In the time I lived there it was a very nice clan," Fairystar said with an irritated voice. "I truly believe it hasn't changed that much, since he became leader." She thought about her old friend Crowclaw. "You'll always protect him," Scorpionfeather said. "You know, your brother." "And you should to! He's your uncle, for Starclans sake!" Fairystar said. "She's completely right. Listen to your mother," Forestpelt said. Scorpionfeather scoffed.

"Why is she so protective of Shadowclan?" Jumppaw asked, while she threw a look at Fairystar. "Because Scorpionfeather is selfish. Shadowclan isn't that bad. I was born in Shadowclan," Forestpelt said. "I know them." "But I thought you're her kit?" Jumppaw said with a surprised look on her face. "I'm not her real kit, but she took care of me like a mother. My real parents lived in Shadowclan," Forestpelt said. "Her only kits are Scorpionfeather, Owlclaw, Fairyblaze, Fireflame and Flametail." "Oh, i didn't know that," Jumppaw muttered. She sprinted a bit further. "Stop Jumppaw! You're crossing the border!" Flyblaze yelled. Jumppaw ran back in shock. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," she cried. "I didn't smell anything!" "It isn't your fault, I can't smell anything either. Like Shadowclan hasn't changed their scent in days," Salmonheart said. "You're totally right," Flyblaze muttered. "Luckily I know where the border is." "What are all of you doing so close to our border?" a voice said. "Shadowclan," Owlclaw mumbled. "Our apprentice didn't smell the border," Fairystar said. "It's like you haven't patrolled here in days." She recognised her old friend Crowclaw. "That's non of your business, get away," Crowclaw hissed. "We're sorry," Scorpionfeather said, he seemed mad.
