(This takes place just minutes before the Rimuru tempest comes to the world)

Third-person POV:

The Ice Continent is the domain of the mightiest demon lord, residing alongside the formidable frost dragon Velzard. The very essence of Velzard's icy aura permeates the land, turning it into a frozen expanse where an imposing ice castle now stands, housing the strongest demon lord, Guy Crimson, alongside Velzard herself.

At this moment, Guy Crimson finds himself engaged in a meeting with another demon lord named Leon. Meanwhile, within the confines of her chamber, Velzard is overcome with a deep sense of longing and sorrow. She finds herself reminiscing about her beloved older brother, Veldanava. Memories flood her mind of their cherished moments together—how he would comfort her when she was frightened as a child, soothing her with lullabies and filling their days with laughter and joy. The absence of these precious moments weighs heavily on Velzard's heart, leaving her to mourn the loss of her dear brother and yearn for the warmth of their memories.

As Velzard drifted into sleep, she yearned to immerse herself in a memory where her brother's soothing lullabies filled the air. Meanwhile, in the realm of the demon lords, Guy and Leon engaged in conversation. Leon lamented the failure of his summoning, expressing frustration over not obtaining the desired individual from Earth. In contrast, Guy attempts to charm Leon, striving to kindle a romantic attraction between them. However, Leon made it abundantly clear that he was not interested in Guy's advances or in romantic relationships with males, which Guy disregarded in his persistent pursuit.

Suddenly, a potent aura enveloped the room, bearing the ominous presence of death. The overwhelming force of the aura knocked Guy to the ground, with Leon succumbing to its effects and also falling to the floor. Both were rendered immobilized, unable to rise from their respective positions. Meanwhile, Velzard was roused from her slumber by the intensity of the aura. While it bore a resemblance to her brother's aura, it emanated a darker and more foreboding energy.

As the aura dissipated, Velzard emerged from her chamber to find Guy Crimson and Leon incapacitated on the floor, each kneeling or lying in their place, unable to move.

"What happened here?"

She asks them, and Guy responds, saying

"Does it look like I know Velzard and Leon, are you okay?!"

Loen remained on the floor, unresponsive. Guy asked repeatedly but received no reply. Concerned, Guy approached Loen to check on him, only to find him unconscious, likely due to the sudden aura that had enveloped him and then dissipated.

"Where did the aura come from!"

Guy turned to Velzard and inquired about the situation, but upon seeing her, he noticed tears streaming down her face. He heard her softly murmur the word "brother" before she swiftly darted out onto the balcony and then flew out the window, disappearing to an unknown destination. With concern for both Velzard and Loen, Guy carefully lifted the unconscious Loen and carried him to his room. Once there, Guy spoke solemnly.

"fufufu~, a lot of things are going to happen, but before that."

Guy raised his voice, addressing his maids, Rain and Misery, instructing them sternly not to disturb him while he tended to matters in his room.

Velzard POV:

I felt it. I sensed it. It's Big Brother Veldanava, the true dragon core. I'm overwhelmed with joy that Big Brother has returned. However, as I soared through the sky, a troubling thought gripped me. How could Big Brother have been revived? His soul vanished the moment he died, and we never sensed its presence. Moreover, the aura that appeared felt like him, but darker, somehow different.
