Rimuru POV:

With a warm smile, I greeted the adventure group, satisfied with having successfully killed the giant ant that had posed a grave threat to Shizu's life. The power unleashed through one of Rimuru's basic skills, even surpassing my expectations, left me in awe of my capabilities.

As I turned my attention to the group, their eyes remained fixed upon me, a capture mixture of awe, gratitude, and curiosity shown in their expressions. At that moment, I realized that I was currently in my slime form, lacking the familiar appearance of a human. Nevertheless, this form is embodied of Rimuru's proper form from the original timeline.

Begin the conversation with a friendly hello, their surprise seemed to intensify further. They exchanged hushed whispers, questioning whether it was true I who had unleashed the powerful blast of black lightning upon the giant ant. Eager to confirm their suspicions, I confidently assured them of my involvement, relishing their amazement as it painted their faces.

Seizing the opportunity to engage with them, I asked about their destination, learning that they were heading back to the castle. My home. Where Veldora had supposedly taken up residence. Sensing their proximity to our village, I suggested that they make a detour and visit us. After all, our village lay conveniently close to the castle, providing them with a chance to witness the vibrant community we had built. The group appeared skeptical, their wariness shown as they questioned the existence of a village nearby. I reassured them, explaining that a humble village had been constructed by hobgoblins and some dwarves, fostering a sense of curiosity within them.

"If you decide to accompany me, I insist on treating you to a humble meal to satiate your hunger." I offered, hoping to alleviate their doubts.

"Huh?" uttered three out of four of the adventurers in surprise.

"What I mean is, since our village is nearby, why not join us for a meal?" I clarified, hoping to entice them.

"Is there truly a town of monsters situated so close to the castle?" Eren inquired, voicing her collective disbelief.

"How is it possible that we haven't noticed it before?" Kaval added.

"As I mentioned, it is a small village, almost like a neighborhood. If you follow me, I can guide you there." I assured them, aware of their reservations. Although the village was inhabited by friendly monsters who sought to coexist peacefully, I understood their concerns.

At this moment, I recalled the original timeline of Rimuru's words: "I'm not a bad slime, you know." However, allowing Shizu to pick me up and take me to the village would likely result in my wives being upset. Thus, I made a decision to proceed with the timeline but prevent Shizu from picking me up, as it could lead to complications.

"I don't think I mentioned it earlier, but my name is Rimuru Tempest, and I assure you, I'm not a bad slime, you know." I declared proudly, addressing the group with confidence. Shizu's expression shifted to shock, knowing she had recognized my identity. I anticipated her next move – an attempt to pick me up. Swiftly dodging her reach, I prevented her from getting a hold of me. This puzzled the others, who were curious about her sudden action.

"No grabbing." I firmly reminded Shizu, aware that allowing her to carry me would complicate matters, especially with my wives. Though it saddened her, I knew it was necessary to avoid such situations.

Realizing that I had momentarily drifted away in my thoughts, I recalled my purpose of returning to the Dwarven Kingdom to acquire the final claw ring, which I intended to give to Luminous, solidifying her position as my official third wife. However, before I could fully grasp the situation, Shizu made another attempt and successfully seized me, cradling me in her arms. It served as a reminder to stay vigilant and alert at all times.
