Velzard POV:

Rimuru had transformed the cave into a magnificent castle, expanding it with more rooms and new areas to explore. With the addition of new subordinates, the past few days had been bustling with activity. However, after Rimuru expelled the scouts, almost every country seemed to be trying to find us. I questioned Rimuru about how the scouts hadn't revealed our location, assuming that someone would have discovered us by now. Rimuru explained that every time they attempted to reveal our whereabouts, their voices would be silenced, their hands immobilized if they tried to write, and they would freeze if they attempted to guide anyone. Despite this, I couldn't help but wonder why so many countries were still on their way here if our location remained hidden.

It seems like a tense situation with the Eastern Empire and the Great Saints being the only ones near us, while the Dwarven Kingdom has veered off course. Rimuru's schedule has been packed, with plans to visit the Eastern Empire Kingdom and handle affairs similar to what he did during the Walpurgis, alongside managing his own army. Unfortunately, he hasn't had much time for me lately, as he's been busy with these responsibilities. The last time we had a moment alone was in the library. Meanwhile, Milim has been enjoying herself being around Rimuru, and he seems more at ease with her, even allowing her to call him 'dad' or 'papa'. It was quite a shock when Rimuru referred to her as his 'daughter', surprising everyone.

It's impressive to hear how Rimuru has organized his army since gaining new subordinates. Naming each of them and evolving them into Demon Lords has undoubtedly boosted their abilities. Dividing them into different groups based on their strengths and skills is a smart move. The scouts, with their speed and stealth, would be invaluable for reconnaissance missions. The soldiers, known for their strength and weapon proficiency, would form the backbone of the army. The magic wielders, adept at spellcasting, would provide powerful support from afar. The captains, commanders, and high command each play crucial roles in leadership and strategy, ensuring the army operates smoothly and effectively. Rimuru has put a lot of thought into building his army into a formidable force.

Entering Rimuru's office, I was greeted by two primordial demons standing guard. They acknowledged me and allowed me to enter. Rimuru was seated at his desk, engrossed in his work. His office was simple, with just a desk, chair, bookshelves, two couches, and a table. I greeted him, and he returned the greeting. Walking over to his desk, I circled the desk and then settled onto his lap, leaning back to relax. He instinctively put his arm around me, but his focus remained on his writing. Wanting his attention, I gently took the hand holding the paper and intertwined our fingers. This action finally drew his gaze away from his work, and our eyes met in silent communication.

"Rimuru, I've been feeling so lonely without you. We haven't spent any time together. Don't you love me?" I expressed, feeling a blush creep onto my cheeks as I spoke. It was true, I missed the moments we used to share.

"Velzard, I do love you. I'm sorry I haven't been spending much time with you. How about we go out together, just for a while, just you and me?"

Rimuru suggested, causing me to blush furiously. Was this a date? I wasn't quite ready for that, but his gesture was sweet, so I agreed. However, my face turned even redder when he kissed my cheek and chuckled at my reaction. "Idiot" I teased him, but he just wrapped his arms around me and apologized, burying his face into my neck. I accepted his apology, patting his head affectionately. He urged me to enjoy the moment before we went out, so I did, relishing the feeling of being close to him again. As I turned around to leave, I wrapped my arms around his neck and rested against the nape of his neck. He tightened his grip around me and rested his head on my shoulder. At that moment, I realized how much I had missed these intimate moments with him.

Me and Rimuru continued to enjoy each other's company for a while longer until we decided to get ready for our date. When Rimuru informed his subordinates that he was going out, they expressed their concerns and insisted on accompanying him to protect their lord. However, Rimuru reassured them that I would be with him, which only caused more chaos. They argued that they needed to protect their queen as well, which made both Rimuru and I blush. Rimuru scolded his subordinates, and shortly after, we left the castle to go on our date.
