CHAPTER 16

"I don't love you."

Walang emosyong saad ko sa estudyanteng nasa harap ko.

He just confessed to me and I had to straight up reject him. I could hear Trina giggling at my side but I just ignored her.

Nang-aasar lang 'yan.

I dragged her to walk instead so we could head to the rest of our friends who are probably waiting already in the parking lot. As usual.

It has been a week since I decided to go back to teaching after a month of just wasting all my time and money over alcohol. And obviously, the students are at it again.

I sighed.

I don't know how to make them stop.

Kasalanan talaga 'to ni Ara eh.

Pagkadating namin doon ay kaagad na tumingin si Clarky sa wristwatch niya.

"Infairness, 5 minutes earlier, Gals," tukso niya.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Ang haba kasi ng buhok nito," asar din ni Trina. Hinaplos niya pa ang buhok ko.

The rest just laughed and I couldn't say a thing to even try to defend myself.

Kasalukuyan kaming nasa van dahil tinatamad kaming mga babae mag-drive. Si Franklin naman, naghahanap na ng restaurant dahil nagutom daw siya sa pag-aantay.

As if! Nagugutom siya kahit walang ginagawa.

"What if magpa-auction tayo?"

I heard Nathasia talking to Kreiza.

Krei laughed cutely, "Magkano kaya ang isang Samira Braunx Alliastar?"

I heaved a deep sigh.

"10 figures 'yan si Madam," sabat ni Trina, "Tanggihan ba naman ang one hundred thousand para lang sa isang dinner date??"

That topic did not flop before, during and after our lunch break.

Tahimik lang ako dahil sa iisang taong tumatakbo sa isipan ko habang iyon ang usapan nila. Plus, I know for a fact that they wouldn't put me in that kind of situation.

They're just teasing me.

WHEN MONDAY came and the same shit happened, I headed straight to Mr. Santiago's Office.

Pagkadating ko doon ay naupo lang ako sa upuan sa harap ng table niya.

"Yes?" he asked.

"Make an announcement now, or I will," I said coldly looking straight into his eyes.

He chuckled.

Seconds later, he pushed the intercom to my direction silently telling me to do things according to my favor. Its speaker is connected to all the corner of the University so whatever it is that I'm gonna say will be heard by everyone.

"Good Morning, Students of Saint Louis University! This is Samira Braunx Alliastar, ..." I stopped midway because I heard screams from outside when I introduced my name, "I'm here to tell you not to bother me in any ways possible," everything went silent.

"Don't bother greeting me if you're just gonna rizz me up after. Don't mind me carrying all of my things together. I can take care of myself. Don't try to pay me again. Be it a simple date or to be your tutor. You can't buy me.
Stop engaging in my personal space. You're a student, not my friend.
And from this day forward, call me Ms. Alliastar. Stop calling me by my name." Because it reminds me of her.

I wrote something in the paper and made the Headmaster say it;

"This is your Headmaster speaking," he formally started,

"Do as she says, or find another University."
