Izuku was a little late so he decided to go directly to the arena
He was thankfully let in and was able to go directly to the 1A waiting room
He opened the door to the room catching the attention of everyone inside
Isumi: midoriya you made it!
Bakugo: and here I thought he chickened out
Ochako: and you got a new sword
Izuku: yeah I was running a little late, and yeah I do
He turned is hip to show a deep green sword with a golden hilt and tips that were all designed with fancy swirls and lines
( had a picture I drew but technology sucks and I cant get it, if I figure it out I'll post it in the next chapter)
Denki: that's cool and all but is it gonna blow up on you
Kirishima: or melt
Mina: or crumble?
Izuku: nope, it should
Todoroki: what is on your back
Izuku: a surprise
Intercom: class 1A make your way to the arena entrance and prepare to be called
Iida: it's time everyone! Please move in an orderly fashion
But no one really paid attention
They all waited in one off the tunnel leading into the main stage also known as the arena
Midnight: they fended off villains! there the strongest around braking the walls into your heart! Class! 1! A!
The class walks out as the crowd cheers for them
They were the first out so they had to wait for every other first year to enter
When everyone arrived midnight started
Midnight: welcome to the annual sports festival!
The crowd cheered
Midnight: now as some of you may know the sports festival has 3 parts! 2 random events and the last is a tournament to decide the winner!
The crowd continues to cheer
Midnight: this wheel will help decide the fate of our contestants
She roles the wheel she was standing near
It slowly comes to a stop
Midnight: and our first part is gonna be... an obstacle race!!
Once more the crowd cheers
Midnight: contestants please line up in that tunnel and wait for it to start
The students did so and crowded themselves into the small confined area
Izuku made sure he was up against the wall so no one would touch his sword, and less people in the way
Izuku looked around a little and noticed todoroki with a focused look on his face, but what was harder to notice was the tiny bit of frost making it's way up his cheek
Izuku knew his plan and readied himself for it
A loud buzzer sounded off
Izuku jumped up standing on the shoulders of two random students as the ground froze
Izuku quickly passed the situation and noticed most of 1A had dodged the attack too
Izuku ran across students heads making it out of the tunnel
