Izuku was walking back to the dorms with the metal box in one hand and the rock in the other
Denki: come on just open it!
Izuku: no
Bakugou: why do you have the rock
Izuku: cause I can
Iida: izuku has the right to privacy
Sero: ah screw that, we wanna know what's inside
Momo: I'm sure he'll tell when he's ready
Izuku: I just want to get to my room can you get off my back
They reach the dorms and izuku immediately went to his room
He put the stone down on his dresser
He sits on his bed and puts the box down in front of him
He kinda just stared at it
There was a latch on the front but wasn't locked
The box had rust but izuku was pretty sure he could open it
But he didn't
Just kept looking at it
Izuku put his hand on the latch and flicked it up
He paused
He took a deep breath and opened the box
Inside was a small red book
Izuku picked up the book from the box
Hisashi was written on the cover
Izuku: who is hisashi?
He opened the book to find a note written on the front cover
" izuku, this is my only message to you, I dont have much time, this book is my life story, I want you to know who I am before I die, at this point everyone has turned on me, inko, my wife has turned me in, she has a child with all might if you can believe it, same age as you, I hope you get along at least, all for one is hunting me down, he'll probably take my quirk, I'm leaving this book with a friend, I hope when the day comes he delivers it, I've left more notes throughout the book, but this is my last, I love you son, I hope your life was easier then mine
Izuku held the book out
He couldn't believe it
He didnt know what to feel
He closed the book and put it down on the bed
Izuku: all might isnt my father, and this guy is, inko would have known this, she didnt tell me
Izuku sat for a moment, should I confront her, or... later
He reopened the book to the first entry
The writing was less uniform and messier
"First entry, today i start my hero journey with, and my crush is in my class! I'm so excited for class here at ua!"
Izuku: he was a hero?
"Entry two, Its been a bit since I wrote, I'm not to good at this, ive met some more of my classmates since last time, a grumpy dude named aizawa and his 2 friends are cool, theres this big guy too, hes super powerful, he said he has a special trainer he works with, I'm jealous, then of course theres inko, we've worked together a few times in training, I think I'm gonna ask her out soon
Izuku cringed slightly and skipped a few pages
