~Into the Rubble~

{Malia P.O.V}

"STILES! " I sob.

I run to Scott and begin to hit him.

"How could you?! How could you not let me help him!" I yelled through my sobs.

"I'm sorry Malia! He wanted me to get you out. I can't deny my best friend one last request." Said Scott as he grabbed my arms and pulled me into a hug.

"I ca- I can- I can't breathe." I sob louder and louder

I felt my heart break into little tiny peices.

"I know it's hard right now but there will always be the mark he left on each one of us individually." Said Scott trying to comfort me.

I look around the rubble to find no one in site.

"Let me take you home. I'll break the news to Sheriff." Said Scott as he led me to the car.

I cried the whole way home.

{Scott P.O.V.}

After I took Malia home. I began to cry hysterically in the car by myself. I am so mad at myself.

I should've done something! He was my best friend.....my brother.

I began punching the steering wheel and jumping up and down out of anger.

I stopped when I heard a knock on the window. I roll down to see Allison come into view.

"Hey..." She said softly.

"What are you doing here?" I ask as I wipe my tears.

"I came to drop off Chance. I heard what happened. I'm so sorry Scott." She said.

She then began to tear up as well.

"So... he's really gone?" She asked.

"Yeah." I said as I climbed out of the car.

I held her tight as we both cried to the loss of a great guy.

"I gotta go give Sheriff the news." I said as I pulled her away.

"You want me to accompany you?" She asked.

"No, it's something I should do by myself." I replied.

"Okay." She nodded.

I climbed into the car.

"I love you..." I said softly.

She smiled.

"We haven't said that in a while." She said as her cheeks turned red.

"I realized life is short. I'm going to tell you how much I love you for the rest of our lives." I explained.
