I HATE SUMMER SCHOOL!
I sat in class anxiously waiting for it to start and get this pop quiz over with. I was sitting at my desk trying to get some last minute studying in.

I was instantly stopped when she walked in, Amelia Hyland.  The most cool and lay back girl in my class. She is also the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. She's an honor student but chose to take a summer class so that she can get into USC when we graduate.

I've known her since we were 10 because her dad is my stepfather's friend.

I've spoken to her many times. She's really cool. Every time I see her I feel happy. I can never stop smiling when I'm with her.

"Hey Liam!" She smiled as she sat in the seat behind me.

"Hey you! Good Weekend?" I asked as I turned to her with a wide smile.

"It was okay. I called your house but your mom said you weren't in." She said.

"Why didn't you call my cell number?" I asked.

"I don't have  it. So I just called the phone number you had when we were kids." She explained.

"Oh, well... I mean, I...could gi-give it to you if... if you'd like. " I stuttered.

She gave me a cute smile, she looked like she was about to say something but we were interrupted by our teacher.

Once the school day was over I left the school with Mason.

"What was that!? She was obviously trying to get your number! She is totally into you!" He argued.

"No she's not." I said.

"Okay, then explain to me why she was asking for your number. Why did she call you this weekend?" He debated.

"We're friends. Friends can hang out." I said.

"I'm just saying you've been in love with the girl since the 7th grade and now she might actually be into you. I just want my best friend to grow some balls and ask her out." He said as we walked to my house to hang out.

"I appreciate the concern but I know she doesn't see me that way." I said before we stepped into my house.

"Fine. But when you're sitting in your apartment alone regretting not asking her out you can't blame no one but yourself." He said before taking a seat on my couch.

Maybe he's right. I do like her and if there's a chance that she could feel the same, why not ask her out? But then again what if she doesn't?  I don't wanna regret it but I also don't wanna ruin a good friendship. I know this is probably going to bug all day.

We sat in my leaving room playing video games,  and eating junk food for a  couple of hours.

"You wanna head out and see what everyone else is up to? Scott said he had some alpha business to attend to, so we can see everyone else though." I asked.

"As temping as that sound I should get home and study. Rain check?" He replied.

"Sure." I agreed.

We split up and head to our destinations. I make it to Stiles' place but his jeep was gone.

I knock on the door and Malia answers.  She was with Lydia laughing.

"Hey you! What's up?" She greets me as she brings me into the house.
