"What I'm about to show you isn't supposed to exist..." begins Deaton with his usual vague tones.
He then places disturbing photos.
"This is the only surviving evidence of Dr. Valack's time as Chief Medical Officer of Eichen House...To call it human experimentation would be..."

He pulled photo after photo. One stood out of attention. Scott must've noticed it too because he picked it up soon after.

"A Banshee. She died screaming. "
"So, he drilled holes into their heads? All of them? " Asked Stiles in a shaken tone.
"That was the experimentation part. He did it to Werewolves, Banshees, Wendigos, any creature he could get his hands on. And Valack found that trepanation would initially heighten their powers, but to levels that couldn't be contained."
"So he wants to make Lydia more powerful. " Said Allison.
"Yeah. Except she's going to end up like them." Said Scott.
"Worse, actually." Responded Deaton.
"Lydia's abilities were already pretty exceptional to begin with. Putting a hole in her head will be like causing a leak in a nuclear reactor. She'll hear everything. Every death, every dying scream, all at once."
"That's going to kill her." I pointed out.
"Not only that... Her own dying scream could be so powerful that it might kill everyone around her as well."
That's brutal. This whole situation.
Is it bad that through the whole briefing, I was staring at Stiles?
We made outside and everyone had started leaving. I left my car at home since I got here with Allison. But she had to leave to see what can be done.
The parking area was empty and I was left outside at night. I then heard the doors swing open.
