Seeks pov:

I opened my eye and took in my room, trying to remember what was going on. I laid upwards in bed and rubbed my eye, stretching with the other arm. I sat there for a moment trying to collect my thoughts... Right, I were supposed to learn how to read braille with Figure. I looked at the eyes on my wall and noticed they were still asleep, meaning it were early. Weird, never wake up early. I look at the clock and saw the time, which was 6:03, aka 6:06.

I stand up from the mattress and get out of my puddle, arriving in the start of my hallway. I walk forward until door 32, going to the closet with the secret room and opened the creaky door. I walked down the old wooden steps as I heard what seemed to be screech talking loudly, and when I arrived at the large dining table we used to often play tabletop games or to have meetings, I noticed Figure was standing uncomfortablely nearby his bedroom door, with Screech loudly asking questions about Figure's life being blind, how he navigated the library, how long he's been there, etc. I noticed that Halt weren't here, meaning I had to stop Screech's unbearable talking.

"Stop yelling, jeez, can't you see its overwhelming for him?" I interrupted Screech annoyedly. None of us in the hotel really enjoyed Screech's company, besides that spider... Timmy or something. Screech looked at me suddenly, and quickly seemed to have a whole body (head technically) screenshot before he floated away hastily to his room, shutting his door that had the initials "SC" engraved in it behind him. Figure had seemed relieved for my arrival. "You alright?" I asked quietly to Figure. "Yeah, it was just a lot happening at once and I couldn't think..." He explained quietly, I nodded. All of the entities must wake up earlier than at least 6 am and were already roaming around the hotel, because the only entities in the secret room were me, Screech, and Figure.

"Let's go to the library." Figure stated as he reached his hand out, which I grabbed. I started for the staircase and lead him up, opening the closet door. "Make sure to duck." I said as he exited the closet behind me. Once we exited the closet, we immediately started heading to the library. There wasn't much conversation, I really only told him when to duck under the doorways.

Soon, we reached the large oak and gold doors of the library. I pushed them open, leading Figure inside. As I shut the door behind me, Figure rushed over to his desk, stumbling slightly. He moved his hands around before he bumped something, and when he picked it up, he brought it over to me.

"What is that?" I asked curiously as I approached him. "Its my favorite book, I've read it so many times. It's called 'Fablehaven' " explained the taller entity in excitement, he seemed really happy about sharing this book with me, so he lead me to his desk as I brought over a chair.

"What's it about?" I asked as I sat down in the chair I brought over whilst Figure sat in the chair that was already at his desk. "Its about how these 2 siblings, Seth and Kendra, that have to go up to their grandparents house for the summer when they find out that the old manor is actually a magical sanctuary. The unexpected twists and turns and the questions arising every chapter is my favorite part about it." The book sounded very interesting and I was intrigued by its plot, so Figure opened the green covered book to its first page.

"Look, Seek, here there are 3 dots. These 3 dots form a letter, that letter being M. These dots here form another letter and..." Figure went on for about an hour, teaching me and showing me each braille letter. I was able to read the first 2 sentences without messing up, and I was quite proud of myself. It was very tricky, how does he do this without getting frustrated? Either way it was a nice way we bonded. Laughter and talking filled the library, when he decided that we should take a break from learning braille.

Figure still seemed as if he wanted to continue reading the book, so I had offered if he wanted to read the book aloud to me, which he agreed to. He continued where I left off and read almost flawlessly, only stumbling on longer words. Figure's voice echoed throughout the large library as he read each dotted word. It was amazing watching and listening to him read the braille pages, as I never had met someone who were blind. After around and hour or 2 he got to the end of the fifth chapter, and I were really interested in the storyline.

He closed the large green covered book with the odd witch on the cover, and set it aside next to a pile of papers and other miscellaneous books. Suddenly, as there were a moment of silence that we both seemed to enjoy, an entity had opened the library doors. It were Halt.

"Oh, hey Halt." I greeted as he shut the library's doors behind him. "I apologize if I am interrupting anything, but I'd like to introduce Figure to the other entities of the hotel if that is alright." Explained the dark aquamarine-ish floating ghost-like entity. I looked over at Figure, and he nodded.

Figure sat up from his chair and navigated his way to the library's doors, bumping into Halt slightly. As Halt turned to the door, Figure looked back at me. "You could wait here while I'm absent," He stated. I agreed before he said his goodbye, while Halt opened the large oak and gold doors, leading the abnormally tall meaty entity.

As the doors shut, I felt slightly annoyed at the fact Halt had taken Figure away, and I wasn't sure why. It's not like we had anything to do, but I had enjoyed being around the slender entity. I wasn't sure if it were his comforting voice, or his presence, or even if it were even the fact he was a new entity. It were the second day knowing him, but I found joy and comfort being around him. I sat in silence in the empty library, thinking.

...

Were I jealous? No, there's no way. How would I be jealous? I just met Figure, there's no possible way to be jealous... there is nothing to be jealous about... right?

I sighed before standing up out of the wooden chair, looking over at a sofa. I were kind of tired and it must've been around 9am already, which is the normal time I woke up, so I walked over and decided I would take a nap whist waiting for Figure to come back. I rubbed my eye as I sat on the couch, It weren't comfortable but it wasn't uncomfortable. Soon, I drifted into a nap.

Time skip to after Figure's done meeting the entities + Figures pov:

I opened the slowly creaked open the library's doors and ducked under as Halt floated away from door 50. As I walked in and shut the door behind me, I listened for a moment, hearing Halts heartbeat depart from the library doors. I noticed another heartbeat I recognized as Seek's, and as I slowly followed the sound of his heartbeat I realized he must've been sleeping as his heartbeat were steady and relaxed. I felt around and I had found Seeks sleeping body. He fell asleep waiting for me...

I could feel my own heartbeat quicken, I were confused why for a moment but ignored it as I sat down next to the inky humanoid on the sofa. I'm not sure how he fell asleep sitting upwards on the sofa, but I could feel a sleeping feeling tugging at me. I couldn't navigate myself to the secret room, so I decided to rest my head on the shorter entities head as I let sleep take me away.
