Only you - ghost x reader

After chatting in the kitchen with the members of force task 141 and John, I went to my room to get ready for work.

Arriving at the medical station, the day passed calmly, nothing exciting happened. After I made my way back to our barracks, I first went to take a shower, as always.
After that I met John for dinner. The other team members were also sitting at our table. John sat to my left and Gaz to his right. Soap sat across from John and Ghost sat across from me.
During dinner I felt like Ghost was watching me the whole time, but I told myself I was just telling myself that because he was sitting right across from me. John and Soap were chatting about some missions, Gaz was watching a soccer game on his cell phone, and Ghost, as usual, said nothing. I had the urge to look at him, but didn't dare.
When I did, he immediately turned his gaze to me and looked me straight in the eye. I immediately got nervous again, why am I reacting to his looks like this? I did not know it. I stared into his eyes without saying anything, noticing that even though his gaze was blank, he has beautiful eyes. John suddenly laughed out loud next to me, I was startled and averted my eyes from Ghost. How long had I been staring at him?

When dinner was over we all went to the TV room. Soap and John wanted to see a classic horror movie, the rest of us joined them. The couch in the TV room was very large, so that everyone had space to sit. I was the first to sit on the couch. John took a seat right away. I sat in the corner so there was no space next to me. Gaz and Soap took their places next to John. Only Ghost chose not to sit on the couch. Instead, he grabbed a chair and sat a little apart to my right.
The boys had made popcorn and placed it on the coffee table in front of us. The movie was on and everyone grabbed the popcorn every now and then. To my astonishment, the guys talked quite a bit during the film and Ghost also got involved, which meant that he was a bit distracted.
When I wanted to reach for the popcorn, he grabbed his Coke from the table at the same moment. His hand briefly touched my arm and I had goosebumps all over my body. His hands were huge compared to mine. His veins showed on his hands and arms, you could see that he was very muscular. I immediately withdrew my hand and stared at him. He calmly took his coke and said "excuse me" without looking at me. "It's okay" I replied. I looked away and tried to focus on the movie but couldn't.

When the film was over, we cleared the empty bowls and headed to our rooms. As we all headed for the door, Soap started talking, "John and y/n, we have practice at the practice ground tomorrow, you'll be there too. It starts at 7:30 am. Don't be late."
"What training?" I asked and Soap explained that the boys should teach us how to shoot. John was very happy about this information. I wasn't so sure how this was going to turn out and my joy was limited.

I went to my room and got ready for bed. As always, I fell asleep quickly.
