6: Girlfriend

Yena quickly entered the police station and rushed inside. He quickly ran towards an officer. "Kim Taehyung! Where is he?" She asked while panting the officer frowned.

"Kim Taehyung?" He called out in the room and an officer replied. "What about him? He's my case."

Yena approached him before glaring at him. "Why did you bring him here?" She asked him and he scoffed. "His car got into an accident and killed Ko Minho. He is charged with murder and breaking traffic rules."

"Ko Minho? Wait- When did the accident take place?" She asked, having the same person in his mind and he rolled his eyes. "The day before yesterday. At night."

"He was with me that night. How can his car kill someone?" She pointed out. "What are you to him?" He asked in confusion.

Yena gulped but said with confidence. "I'm his girlfriend."

"Do you have evidence that he was with you?" He inquired and she nodded. She went to her Instagram account and then to her story archive to find the pictures she clicked that night with him.

"Look. This is Taehyung. He was with me that night. How can he drive the car?" He sighed and asked one of the officers to bring in Taehyung.

The officer went towards the cells inside the station and then walked to him. "Your girlfriend is here to save you." The officer commented when Taehyung looked up at him and narrowed his eyes.

"Girlfriend?" He asked when the officer escorted him to the main room. He spotted Yena and his eyes widened to see her in just a crop top and shorts.

"Yena, what the fuck!" Taehyung exclaimed, taking off his trench coat immediately and wrapping it on her body.

She circled her arms around his neck, pulling him down while his hands wrapped around her waist. "I was scared, Tae. Why didn't you call me?" She asked while crying in his neck.

"It's alright, honey. Calm down. Stop crying." He said while stroking her back gently. "I'm sorry to interrupt your little moment here but I still didn't release you, Mr. Kim." The officer said.

Taehyung looked at him with a sinister look while caressing Yena's back softly. "What else do you need?" Taehyung asked him sternly.

"The car still belongs to you. You are the owner. Where is the car then?" The officer questioned.

Taehyung looked at him darkly before saying. "I had told you as soon as you mentioned the car plate number that, my car was stolen from the University parking lot."

"I hope you're not lying, Mr. Kim." The officer said and Yena looked at him with bloodshot eyes.

"He is not lying. I showed you the pictures that were clicked that night. He was with me the whole night." She asserted when Taehyung covered her face and shoved it back on his chest.

"Shh... Calm down, honey." He said to her softly and looked back at the officer sternly. "Anything else?" Taehyung asked him but he shook his head.

"Can I get my things back, please?" He asked the officer to hand him his phone and wallet back.

"We are sorry but we will still issue a case of your lost car. Sorry for the inconvenience caused." He bowed and Taehyung took Yena out of the police station.

"Honey, look at me." He said and Yena pulled out before looking up at him with a face full of tears. "Why didn't you call me?" She asked while sniffing.

"I just didn't feel like disturbing you. Now can you explain to me who's my girlfriend?" He asked with a smirk on his face and she looked away. "I don't know. Who might that be?" She tried to dodge the topic and he chuckled.

"Aww... I think my girlfriend was so worried about me that she ran with slippers and a crop top to save her boyfriend." He said while looking into her eyes lovingly.

"Don't tease me!" She snarled at him and punched his chest while he groaned playfully.

"Do you trust me, honey?" He asked while deeply staring into her eyes and she locked her gaze with him. "I do trust you a lot."

"So are we dating then?" He asked and she hugged him to try to hide her flushed face. And Taehyung embraced her while laughing cheekily at her adorable state.

"You're my girlfriend, Yena. Finally, you're mine."
