25: Scorpion

"I was raised as a scorpion being pulled by the moon in a high tide. That's why I'm broken." Taehyung said while Yena cried silently while listening to his past.

"I've lived a lot of life that not a lot will understand. The type of life that gives you scars before you take command." He said and looked at Yena with a slight smile on his face.

"I know this hurts a lot. But it's not your fault." Yena said and he nodded slightly. "It's not my fault, it never was." He said.

"And I know I'm tough like stone.
But right now, please hug me.
I feel alone." Taehyung said and Yena engulfed him in a hug.

"It's alright, Tae. I'm with you. You're not alone." She mumbled and he buried his face in the crook of her neck before wrapping his arms around her waist.

"I love you, Yena. I really do. But I'm pathetic." He said and she ran her fingers through his hair. "That night in Seoul when I followed you. I was about to tell you the truth about everything. I want to start a family with you and leave the underworld. I transferred all my money to a foreign bank and was about to take you there but Taehoon somehow got to know about it. You know what happened after." He said and Yena cried silently.

"I tried to explain it to you once again but you kicked me out of your home." He said and Yena pulled out from the hug before looking at Taehyung's face.

His eyes were puffy and red, his face was soaked with tears and he was sniffing badly. "I am so sorry, Tae. I didn't listen to you. Please forgive me. I hope you do." She said and he shook his head.

"It's not your fault. Taehoon is good at manipulating things. No one can go against him." He said and Yena leaned in to connect their lips together.

Tears streamed down both of their faces. Tears of reunion, sadness, agony, and worry about the future. Taehyung pulled back and stared at her face with a smile.

"I love you, Yena." He confessed and she smiled as well. "I love you too, Tae."

"But now hear me out. We need to get out of this situation." He said and she nodded. "Do you trust me, Yena?"

"I do." She said and he took out a packet of a white powder from his pocket and both of them looked at it. "What is this?" Yena asked and Taehyung moved his eyes to hers.

"Drug for Taehoon." He said and she frowned at him. "What are you trying to do, Tae?"

"We will drug him and then make him admit things he did," Taehyung said and she frowned at him. "And then?"

"Then?" He questioned back and she sighed. "Will the evidence be enough?" She asked and he joined his brows in confusion.

"Yes, why not?" He asked and she looked at him. "How are you planning to drug him? Give him the packet and ask him to take it. Like, 'Here you go Taehoon, have this drug. Then admit your crimes'?" She mocked and he glared at her playfully.

"You think so stupid of me, honey?" He asked and her eyes widened. "Honey?" She mumbled while blushing.

Taehyung chuckled at her state before nodding. "Honey was the nickname given to you by me. I always wanted to call you that." He said and noticed the red tint on her cheeks becoming more prominent.

"Honey~" He teased and she looked away. "You're so cute, Yena. Your personality wants me to . . ." He said but stopped himself.

"Wants you to?" She motioned him to continue but he looked deep into her eyes before leaning towards her face close to her ears.

"That I want to cuff your hands and pound into you roughly." He rasped which made shivers run through Yena's spine.

She cleared her throat and pushed him back while he started laughing at her. "You are so cute. Damn! I can't believe you're with someone cold like me." He says and her eyes soften.

"Taehyung, I told you it's not like that. You're so caring and careful with me. Don't think like that." She said and he sighed before nodding.

"Let's get back to our point. How will we make him take the drugs?" Yena asked and he smirked.

"We will call him over at your home and make him take the drugs mixed with his food." He said and Yena nodded. "Are you sure this plan will work?" She asked and he hummed.

"It has to work. We need to get out of his radar. For that, we need to get him arrested." He said and Yena hummed. Taehyung smiled and placed a chaste kiss on her forehead before saying.

"Every time he plays with us. But now we play with him."
