Eleanor panted breathlessly, landing on all fours with a loud thud against the ground. She rolled over on her back, groaning in pain she glanced down at her stomach, her hands now covered in blood as she attempted to hold her wound down.
"Elle? What are you doing here, what happened ?" Tyler walked into his bedroom, nothing but tracksuit pants on, Eleanor would of took in the sight before her if she wasn't struggling to contain her pain.
"The monster." She managed to croak out, Tyler knelt beside her sliding his arms under her arms and legs, lifting her up onto his bed.
Eleanor expected him to panic, not used to seeing an injury like such but he remained calm, gathering a bowl with water, a towel and first aid kit into his bedroom.
"I'm going to need to take this off." Tyler gestured to the girls T-shirt, who had been barely hanging on shredded to pieces.
Eleanor nodded, giving Tyler the go ahead to remove the fabric to get to her wound. He grabbed a handful of the fabric in each hand, ripping it apart to reveal her wounds. They were four deep gashes, Eleanor sighed at the sight of them, throwing her head back into the pillow.
"It's going to need stitches." Tyler went ahead and poured disinfectant onto her skin, Eleanor hissing as the liquid poured into her open wounds with a stinging sensation.
Eleanor felt beads of sweat forming on her forehead, grinding her teeth together she tried to keep quite and prevent tears from spilling from her eyes. She's had worse injuries she thought.
"Tell me about your mother." Tyler spoke out, carefully watching her face realising the internal battle she was going through, attempting to distract her.
"She's a powerful witch, Mother always said that I crawled straight out of hell after she'd prayed to lucifer for me." Tyler chuckled, though he wasn't surprised at the statement.
"The outcasts still have heaven and hell then ?"
"Yes, but humans have many misconceptions in your bibles and books." Eleanor panted, attempting to steady her breath while watching Tyler ready the needle.
"In your religion it is said that angels were the most beautiful creatures to walk the earth, that is false. In fact it was demons, they used their beauty to lure men and women to the pits."
"What about your father ?" Tyler slid the needle through her skin, Eleanor's whole body jerking under the sudden pain, her hand flying to the boys shoulder, digging her nails into his skin, flinching under her strengths.
"Mother doesn't speak of him. What happened to your shoulder ?" Eleanor opened her eyes to study him, being shirtless he was unable to hide the rather large bruise covering his shoulder down to his arm.
"Some boxes fell on me at work." Tyler's gaze was fixated on the threading needle, carefully making his way across the wounds. His eyebrows were burrowed together with concentration, Eleanor couldn't help but admit that he looked handsome in his messy state. Though there was something else clouding his eyes, if Eleanor didn't know better she would of said it looked like guilt.
"If you keep staring, I might think you've grown a liking to me." He shifted his gaze quickly from her stomach to her eyes, smirking at the girl who was caught staring.
"You're shaking." Tyler eyes began flicking across her entire body, lifting his hands up almost in defence, unsure as to what was happening.
"Shit, my body's going into shock. There's a small purple vile in the pocket of my jacket." Eleanor began stuttering and stumbling over her words, her eyes began clouding and blurring her vision only hearing the panicked rustling across the room.
Tyler slid his hand under the girls head, lifting her up gently to pour the foreign liquid past her lips. Eleanor swallowed and only seconds later, her entire body seized causing her back to arch. Tyler watched her in panic, his chest tightening in fear when she suddenly went limp. He knelt down beside her, checking if she still had a pulse he spotted her chest rising gently.
As he began brushing her hair back from her face, Eleanor's eyes snapped open though they were completely clouded black. But as she took in a sharp breath, they returned to their natural blue colour.
"Not exactly how I imagined you half naked in my bed and screaming my name but here we are."
"In your dreams, Galpin."
"Every night." Eleanor signed, relaxing into the comfort of the bed under her, relieve to be finally finished with the torture.
Tyler sat on the floor, resting his back against the bed frame. The room had been destroyed with bloody towels, bandages and all the rest. The pair sat in silence, Eleanor regaining her steady breaths.
"Do you go to Dr. Kinbott because of what happened with Xavier last year ?" Eleanor suddenly spoke up, still attempting to dig deeper and study the boy.
"I did a bad thing, I know that. But I'm not a bad person." Eleanor wondered who he was trying to convince, her or himself. Though is was possibly because of her weakened mental and physical state, that she decided he wasn't the bad she was searching for.
"Why did you come here, Eleanor ?" Tyler turned his head to look at the girl, his eyes burning into hers.
"You were the closest." Eleanor wasn't one to get nervous but whatever way he gazed at her, filled a new unknown feeling in her chest.
Tyler twisted his body so he sat on his knees, leaning his arms against the mattress beside the girls head. Eleanor gulped, feeling his breath fan against her skin. His eyes darkened, smirking at her as he felt her sudden discomfort.
"If only you weren't injured."
