Once the class finally let out for lunch break, Chae Aera pulled out her phone.

Aera:
Hey, where are you?

Jungwon:
My homeroom class
Why?

Yang Jungwon turned to find Chae Aera in the doorway of his class room. He unknowingly grinned as the girl approached.

"Come on, let's go," The girl looked at the boy who was still sitting, staring back at her with a confused expression.

"Remember? I owe you snacks," she said as she sulked.

"Oh, right!" The boy immediately jumped up and smiled widely, playfully nudging the sulky girl's shoulder. "Let's go."

Ni-kk grabbed a triangle gimbap off of the convenience store shelf and handed it to Jake, who was there with him. The two were getting snacks for themselves at the store near Byeoran since the younger boy had forgotten to bring lunch (again).

The two picked a few more snacks to give to their friends and were making their way to the counter to purchase them when Jake spotted a familiar face. He quickly grabbed Niki's arm and pulled him behind a shelf.

"Wha-?" Niki confusedly blurted before being shushed by Jake, holding up his finger. The latter gestured his head towards the doorway where Niki spotted what had shocked his friend so much.

Standing by the doorway, with his hands in his pockets, was their friend Yang Jungwon. And he was with a girl.

She had a cute bunny face with dark brown, straight hair and she wore a blue sweater over her uniform. The two were laughing together and teasing each other.

"Just choose something," Aera groaned as Jungwon finally made his way over to the drink shelf.

He grabbed a banana milk and held it up, pointing at it. "Do you like these?"

"I'm more of a strawberry milk person myself," the girl said with a shrug. "You?"

The boy grabbed a glass bottle off of the shelf. "Coffee."

Aera scrunched her nose jokingly as she glared at the brown drink. "Too bitter."

The boy stared at her and blinked for a couple moments before he put the drink back and instead grabbed two cartons of milk: one banana and one strawberry. He handed both to the girl to carry.

The two made their way down the aisle to another shelf, where the male spotted spam musubi, one of his favorite snacks. Just as he was about to reach for it, a face popped out from behind the shelf and he let out a short shout.

Niki emerged from the other side of the shelf laughing as Jake patted Jungwon's shoulder while chuckling.

"What are you two doing here?"

"Getting snacks? Why else would we be-" Jake paused seeing the girl standing behind his friend. She was pretty. She stood with a drink in each hand, frozen.

Jungwon glanced at Jake. Noticing who he was staring at, the boy quickly grabbed the girls wrist and led her to the counter to pay.

Niki and Jake exchanged giggly glances as they watched the two checking out together.

"Do you think that's 'her'?" Niki whispered. Jake shrugged in response. "Jungwon will tell us if he wants us to know."

Jungwon turned after paying to see his friends whispering, still watching him and Aera. They both looked away upon sensing the male's gaze and Aera confusedly brushed a hand through her hair.

Niki opened his mouth to say something, but before he could, Jungwon quickly grabbed the girl's wrist again and pulled her out of the store, and out of the view of his two friends.
