a/n: again another longer chapter hehe
Suddenly, the moment was broken by Aera's voice. "Are you flirting with me?"
Jungwon pulled back a bit, and even though he definitely was, her comment caught him so off guard that he stumbled over his own thoughts. "Huh? N-no, I just.. uh." He internally face palmed at his own words, but he swore he saw a bit of disappointment on the girl's face. However, before he could catch it, they were interrupted by Kang Yoona, peaking her head into the cove.
"What are you two doing here?" she asked as she tilted her head.

After dinner time, the 5 girls who were assigned to 602 made their way together to the elevators. Chae Aera had been ignoring Park Haneul and she planned to keep it that way. However, that was pretty difficult when the third year asked her if they could talk in private.
Yoona and Baram, not knowing the situation fully, didn't think much of it and left with Eseo to go to their room, leaving Haneul and Aera alone in the 6th floor hallway.
The two stared at each other for a moment in silence before Haneul finally swallowed her pride and spoke. "Listen, Aera. I'm sorry."
Aera's stern expression softened in the slightest way as she confusedly hummed. She crossed her arms, waiting for the older girl to elaborate.
"I was being irrational when I yelled at you and I shouldn't have. It's not really a reasonable excuse, but I hope you can forgive me and we can become friends, maybe? I really like Yuhan and it bothers me to think I ruined you two's friendship."
Aera was taken aback by the girl's sudden maturity and honesty, but it didn't take her more than a few seconds to agree. "Don't worry, we all have bad days," she chuckled as she held out a hand for the older girl to shake.

Sim Jake groaned in frustration as he stared at the card game in front of him. He and his roommates were playing a game with fairly high stakes. The loser would have to buy the others snacks the following day at whatever location they visited, and he had just lost.
He threw the cards down and hopped onto one of the beds, nuzzling himself under the covers. Before long, the other boys followed and fell asleep one by one. Until, finally only one boy was left awake: Yang Jungwon.
Of course he was tired from swimming and chasing Aera around all day, but he also couldn't get their moment in the pool out of his head. Her glimmering eyes and elegant yet adorable features, the way she liked to tease him and the way she got flustered when he complemented her.
Everything about her.
The male decided he would go to the balcony for some fresh air, and maybe he could even clear his mind. He crawled out of bed, careful not to wake the sleeping Sunoo beside him.
At last he made it to the balcony. The weather was cool and slightly windy, and somehow there were a few visible stars, despite the fact that they were in an urban area.
It was only after a few minutes of peaceful silence that he realized there was another door on the balcony. The male stood and quietly made his way across the concrete floor towards the door which was almost the same as the entrance to his own room.
He peered through the tinted glass, hoping he wasn't looking like a complete creep to whatever or whoever was on the other side. Suddenly a hand slapped against the glass, startling the boy so badly he almost lost his balance.
He sighed as a familiar older girl emerged from the door laughing her head off. Park Haneul was practically crying from laughing so hard as she made her way out onto the balcony.
It took her a moment to calm herself before she spoke. "Are you looking for your girlfriend? I can go get her if you wa-"
"Huh? My who?" The boy starred at her with a baffled expression, his heart still racing from the scare she gave him.
"Chae Aera. Aren't you two..?" she realized she must have been wrong judging from the male's increasingly more confused face. "Oh, nevermind then," the female awkwardly averted her gaze to the landscape that was visible from the balcony.
The male was about to reply when he was cut off by the girl waving her hands in front of his face. "Oh, we're good now. If that's what you were wondering."
He blinked, still not able to understand any of the words that had just come from the third year girl's mouth. "Huh?"
"We made up. Aera and I."
"Oh."
There was an awkward silence as the two stared at each other, then simultaneously looked towards the view. "Uh... well, this might be weird to ask, but," the girl started again, this time with a little more determination. "Do you know if Aera's single?"
