Chae Aera stared at the cat faced boy in front of her with wide eyes. Her cheeks were already a bright red, she was sure, but she prayed he couldn't tell in the dim night lighting. Suddenly, as if another soul had possessed her, the female took a step on her tip-toes, and her lips briefly met with the boy's dimple.

When she pulled back away from him, she saw the boy's face as he stood frozen like a statue. She could practically see the confusion in his brain through his huge, boba eyes.

However, when he didn't respond, Aera felt her heart drop. Was he uncomfortable? Or upset? Or even annoyed? She quickly opened her mouth, preparing to apologize, when he suddenly interrupted her with an embarrassed chuckle.

Had he been alone, the boy was sure he would have been jumping from metaphorical walls with pure happiness and nervousness. But, Aera was in front of him, so he stopped himself by rubbing the nape of his neck instead.

The male cleared his throat, then turned to the female with a forced straight face; however, as soon as their eyes met, his facade shattered into an embarrassingly wide smile and a laugh. "Hey! Why are you laughing?"

Aera felt her cheeks burning with embarrassment as the boy laughed, his hand placed over her face, covering his own embarrassment. There was no doubt about it now. She had feelings for Yang Jungwon.

He waved his other hand, trying to reassure the female that he wasn't laughing at her actions, but she didn't seem to buy it as he peeked a glimpse of her remaining pout through his fingers. The male bit his bottom lip, then looked down at Aera, still smiling. "Fine."

Before the female had a moment to comprehend anything, she felt a soft pair of lips peck her own. Her eyes widened as her heart began beating out of her chest and she stared at the male and his boba eyes sure that her face was fully tomato red.

As she lost her focus in his dark eyes, she couldn't tell if a minute had passed or an hour. Either way, she could have stayed there for an eternity, had it not been for the sudden noise of a phone ringing in the male's pocket.

He quickly reached into his pocket and took the call, feeling just how warm his cheeks were as he placed the cold screen to his ear. But as soon as he heard the loud scolding of his mother from the other end, he checked the time, finally realizing how late it hat become. Still trying to apologize to his parents, the male gently pulled Aera's wrist along side him towards her house. He wouldn't have her walk home alone, even if it meant he would be scolded for coming home even later.

That night, Chae Aera laid awake, staring at her ceiling at 2 am, unable to sleep with the thought of the boy's actions in her mind. No matter what she tried, she couldn't stop her mind from replaying that moment again and again, and each time she ended up kicking her feet a little with excitement until she was brought back to reality.

Suddenly, her phone buzzed with a notification. In the blink of an eye, she had grabbed the device and unlocked it, hoping it was who she had just had in mind, however, it was a text from Baram. Well, more like a few texts.

Baram:
CHAE AERA WAKE UP
BIG NEWS
AERA??!

Aera:
TELL ME??

Baram:
ITS JUNHYUN

Aera:
What about Junhyun???

Baram:
Aera
He asked me out on a date

Aera:
Hold on, why do you seem so unhappy then
I thought you liked him, right?

Baram:
OH IM HAPPY
just in shock honestly

The two went on for nearly an hour simply listing the possibility of Baram and Junhyun's first date, but Aera couldn't help thinking about when she would have her first official date with-

Seriously, why was that boy all she could ever think about? His dimples, catlike eyes, adorable smile, soft lips...

The female slapped her pillow onto her face with a sigh, trying her hardest to clear her head, and the next thing she knew, she was waking up in the morning.

Yang Jungwon stared at his phone screen, his conversation with Chae Aera open on his screen as the image burned into his eyes. He had passed by the ice cream shop the pair had seen the day before in the morning and the line was short, so he supposed they could go together to get dessert.

However, he couldn't seem to bring himself to type a single character without the scene from the night before replaying in his head. Every time he thought of it his cheeks flushed and his heart rate hastened. How embarrassing...

Just then, his phone buzzed and he leaped up only to see a new text from Jake.

Jake:
JUNGWOOOOON
You, me, new lego set, 4:00 pm today

Jungwon:
YOI

Hold on.. 4pm? That was in half an hour. The male quickly hopped up from his spot on his bed and threw on a sweatshirt before going to fix his hair in the bathroom and finally leaving for his older friend's home.
