"Yang Jungwon?" Her voice was slightly raspy from still being half asleep as she looked up at the boy. He was wearing an oversized hoodie and sweatpants, and just behind him was another good-looking make Aera recognized: Park Jay.

She bowed to her senior politely and turned to Jungwon. "Where are you going?"

The male thought for a second before he shrugged. "Wandering."

"Wandering? Around the hotel..?"

He nodded, "there's nothing else to do." The male began walking past her but she quickly caught up. The more she thought about it, the less desire she had to swim. "Can I join?"

Jungwon faked a sigh and crossed his arms "I guess you can," he pouted. Suddenly, he received a short punch on the arm from the female beside him. "Whatever, I'm coming anyways."

The trio only made it a few steps before they heard another male voice from behind. "AYO JAYYE"

They turned to find a smiley Aussie boy biting his tongue as he made a rockstar sigh with his hand. He ran over and wrapped an arm around Jay who rolled his eyes, even though both Jungwon and Aera could tell he was trying not to smile.

"Sunghoon and I are going to play pool, wanna come?" Jake didn't even give the male a second to respond before he spoke again. "Okay, great! Let's gaurrr," he giggled as he pulled a confused and reluctant Jay behind him towards the elevators.

Jungwon and Aera looked at each other with questioning glances before they both laughed aloud. The two walked side by side around the enormous hotel. They made their way down the the lobby once more which had a snack and dessert bar set up and sat near it, resting their legs.

"Hey, when's your birthday?" Aera questioned curiously as she tucked her hands beneath her legs.

"Guess," Jungwon raised an eyebrow at her. "I think I'm older than you."

"What makes you think that? You don't know my birthday either." Actually, he did. But to be fair, Aera had never told him, he only knew because he had asked Sunoo about it once and he had remembered the girl's friends bringing her gifts one day. But either way, the male still shrugged as if she was right. "Guess mine."

"Hmm... August?"

"Nope."

"March?"

"Mm-mm."

"Uhhh... September?"

"Wrong."

"February?"

"Nope."

"January?"

"Wrong again."

"October? November? December?"

"No, no, and no."

Chae Aera sunk in her chair as she groaned, frustratedly. "What is it?"

The boy bit his lip as if he was debating whether or not to tell her, but eventually he gave in. "February 9th."

"Huh? I said February a while ago, though," she raised an eyebrow at the cat-eyed boy.

"Oh you did? I was just saying no to everything."

"Hey!" The girl smacked the male on the arm and laughed, half annoyed and half joking as he chuckled, trying to dodge her attacks at the same time. Finally, the boy surrendered and offered the girl a peace offering: gelato from the desert bar.

He ordered her a mint choco flavored scoop and ordered himself a chocolate one. The pair sat back down and Aera started again with her talk about birthdays. "So February 9th, 2004? Hmph. You're a bit older than me I guess," she mumbled as she took a big bite of her pre-dinner dessert.

"When's your birthday?" The male asked, even thought he already knew.

"March 12th," she mumbled, still annoyed at the fact that she was the younger of the two, even if it was only by a month or so. "Hey, do you wanna go swimming?"

The boy looked at her as he took the last bite of his dessert. "I thought you didn't want to."

"Well I changed my mind. Let's go swim, come on!" She grabbed the boy's wrist and tried with all her strength to pull him off the couch, but he was too strong. "Come onnn, plea-?"

Her words were cut off as the male swiftly pulled his arm back towards himself, along with the girl holding it. She fell directly into his lap unintentionally, and their faces were just inches apart.

Chae Aera felt her heart beating faster as she looked at the handsome face of the boy in front of her. Despite the male's adorable boba eyes and cute cat-like expressions, somehow right now, he had a completely different aura surrounding him. He was confident and almost intimidating.

Yang Jungwon gazed into Aera's eyes as she looked into his. Even though they were a dark brown, her eyes reminded him of galaxies, full of stars and wonder. He could practically feel her heartbeat they were so close.

Suddenly, the male felt his eyes shifting down to her lips unconsciously as he bit his lip to stop himself from doing anything without her consent. The worst thing, he thought, would be to hurt her.

The girl realized she was staring at him, and even worse, she was sitting on his lap, so she frantically stood to escape the awkward moment. But just as her hand slipped from his wrist, she felt the other hand grab her hand.

The male squeezed her hand, rubbing the top of it softly with his thumb. He was about to stand to follow her when he felt a sharp tap on his head, making him drop the girl's hand.

The male realized she had smacked him and he couldn't help but chuckle as he noticed her rosy cheeks. "Okay, fine. I'll swim." he jokingly groaned as he stood to follow her.

"Hmph- what if I don't want you there anymore?" Aera pouted before she took off running towards the elevator. The male sighed, still laughing and took off, only a few steps behind.
