Aera held her breath as she stared at the soft, yet defined features of the male in front of her. His expression was serious and nervous, but she couldn't help but giggle a little.

Suddenly he moved his right hand to her chin, slightly tilting it up to look at her face. Just seeing her smile was enough to make him happy.

Suddenly a flurry of snow flakes flew between the two, brushing their cheeks with a cool pink. Aera had almost forgotten it was winter time as the warmth of the boy's hug had engulfed her.

Soon, a few snowflakes turned into many, than even more, until it was almost hard for them to see in front of themselves as they walked to Aera's house.

Just as they turned another street, the male sighed and turned to the girl. "It's going to be difficult to make it to your place in this weather. My house is just down the street, so we can go there at least until the weather clears."

The female nodded, but then realized, the boy had told her all this time that his house was near hers, so how come now he was telling her it was over here?

But before she found question him, the boy grabbed her hand, which had been curled in a red-knuckled ball, trying to keep warm, and placed it in his pocket. Before she could even react, the boy led the female to the left, down the snow covered sidewalk until they reached a tall, white building. The male gestured to the entrance and the two entered into the warmth of the indoors.

It was only then that Aera realized the boy had interlocked their fingers, and was holding her hand tightly.

They stood in silence, with both their hands still in the boy's puffer pocket, when suddenly, Aera's phone buzzed in her bag, making her jump.

She quickly swung her bag onto a nearby bench and fished out her phone to see a message from her father.

Father Chae:
Are you almost home?

The female stared at the message with a furrowed brow, thinking, before she called him, placing the phone to her ear.

Jungwon watched with his hand still in his pocket, although now it felt empty with out her hand.

Aera?

Dad? Can you hear me?

Yes. Is everything okay?

Mhm, don't worry. It's just snowing a lot and it's hard to see outside, so I'm at a friend's place right now.

Ah.. You aren't going to ask to stay the night there, right? It feels like Momma Chae and I haven't seen you in forever.

Aera chuckled hearing her dad's playful tone and reassured him.

Don't worry, I'll just be here until the snow clears. That is, if you're okay with it.

Hmm. Who's place is it again?

Oh, uh, Yang Jungwon's.

The boy who had just been mentioned peeked up from his phone after hearing his name being called. He looked at the female and pointed his finger at his chest, mouthing the word 'me?'

Aera held up her finger, signaling him to wait as her dad began listing out the rules she would have to follow while being in a male friend's house.

Okay, okay. Mhm. To him? Oh, uh, okay..

Aera hesitantly handed the phone to Jungwon who looked more nervous to talk to her father than he had when the two had met for the first time in person.

Hello, Mr. Chae.

Ah! Yang Jungwon, my favorite of my daughter's friends.

The male laughed nervously and Aera stared at him, praying her dad wouldn't say anything embarrassing. The boy nodded as Mr. Chae stated his concerns and rules, which Aera had already heard.

Yes, sir.

So, take care of her while she's there, okay? And, uh, one last thing...

What is it?

Are you and Aera... uh.... how should I put this... Are you two.. together?

Yes, sir.

REALLY? I KNEW IT! Ah, you two should have told me sooner. Tsk. Anyways, go have fun and don't do anything I said not to, alright? Bye.

Yang Jungwon passed the phone back to Aera with a confused furrowed brow, replayed what Mr. Chae had just said in his head.

"Hm? Is everything okay?" Aera hesitantly took the phone from the boy's hand and stared at his expression. Just then, the realization hit him.

He had meant the two were 'together' as in, in the same room together, not together together.
