Like A Star (별처럼)

chapter eight.

"That was tiring!" Jessica said as she threw herself on the couch.

"Good thing you know." Taeyeon added as she joined Jessica on the couch.

"So, did you tell him?" Jessica asked as she sat up. Taeyeon ignored and went to the kitchen.

"You want anything from the fridge?" she tried changing the topic.

"Kim Taeyeon, I was talking to you."

Taeyeon took a sigh before going back to the living room, holding a basket of fruits.

"Sit down." Jessica commanded her. Taeyeon knew where this conversation was going. "Did you tell him already?" Jessica asked her once more before Taeyeon responded. Her tears were forming again. But she didn't want to cry anymore. Ever since she came back from States, all she did was cry, cry, and cry.

"I... I don't think I still have plans of telling him..." she sobbed.

Jessica almost choked on the apple she was eating. Her fist slammed on the coffee table as she disagreed on Taeyeon's answer.

"Kim Taeyeon, you can't keep his daughter away from him forever. He has the right to see Hyesun."

"How can I tell him now that he has a girlfriend?!"

Taeyeon bursted in tears. She hated herself for crying again.

"H-He has... a g-girlfriend?" Jessica stuttered, not wanting to believe what her bestfriend told her. She hugged her and she patted her back. "I'm sorry, Taeyeon." She teared up, pitying the poor leader. "This will all turn out well soon. Don't worry." Jessica cupped her small face, wiping her flowing tears with her thumbs.

Hyesun will have another day in school. Taeyeon, in disguise dropped her off and gave her a goodbye kiss before going back to her car. Hyesun was skipping towards her classroom when another kid made her trip.

"Ouch!"

Hyesun held her knee. It had a wound. The kid who tripped her had her friends with her. Lee Riah and her friends summed up to three and they were all girls.

"Yah! Jang Hyesun! I see you really don't have a dad. He never comes to school with you, does he?"

Hyesun ignored as she slowly stood up and tried to walk before the girl pushed her back down.

"I was talking to you!"

Hyesun didn't want to get involved in a fight so she tried to walk it out once more.

"I bet her mom's ugly. She's always wearing those clothes that almost covered her whole face."

The little girl laughed with her friends. Hyesun was in the tip of crying but she wanted to stay strong. She wanted to be strong for her umma.

Taeyeon was driving her way back to her apartment when she saw Hyesun's math book on the seat of the car.

"She must've been rushing that she forgot this."

She chuckled a bit before taking a U-turn and making her way back to the school.

"Her mom's probably ugly that's why she's ugly too!" shouted another girl.

They continued making of fun of Hyesun. Taeyeon was right there. She heard everything. She wanted to help her daughter but this would embarass her daughter more. The three girls continued laughing when Hyesun's boy friend, (a/n: note there was a space. it wasn't boyfriend, it was boy friend. lol we wouldn't want the three year old Hyesun having a lover already right? haha!) Jang Minkyo came in to help her.

"Yah! Lee Riah! Don't you have to be mean somewhere else? Stop bullying Hyesun just because she's prettier and SMARTER than all of you three combined!" He told them. Lee Riah and her two friends stormed off as they got humiliated. Taeyeon smiled at how the little boy helped her daughter out.

"Hyesun-ah, next time they bully you, call me! I'll be like the Power Rangers and I'll help you out!"

The little boy striked a "Power Ranger pose" cheering little Hyesun up. Taeyeon managed to finally walk up to her daughter and give her a hug.

"Hyesun-ah, gwaenchana?" asked Taeyeon worriedly.

Hyesun nodded. "Thanks to my friend, I was fine!"

Taeyeon chuckled at how cute they were. She finally gave her math book as she left the school, leaving Hyesun at the care of the little boy.
