chapter eleven.

"Jioong-ah! You'll come with us back to our apartment?" Taeyeon asked her brother as she was holding Hyesun's hand, and they were ready to leave.

"Aniya. You could go. I'll just ride the bus going to my own apartment." he replied.

"Arasseo. We'll see you soon then." Taeyeon told him.

Hyesun quickly let go her umma's hand as she ran towards her uncle, giving him a hug. "I'll miss you uncle!" Hyesun cutely told him, and now going back to her umma's grip. Both Taeyeon and Hyesun headed to their car as Jioong waved them goodbye.

Taeyeon was sitting comfortably in her car when she felt her phone vibrate once more. She grabbed it from her pocket as she saw a text message.

TeukTaengoo! Our couple name is cute huh? kekeke anyways, you wanna hang out for a while? i'll treat you food! :)

-Teukie (Sent: 1:40pm)

Taeyeon chuckled for a while before she pressed the reply button.

Couple name? you're really a joker. keke i don't know if i could go. Hyesun's with me right now. I promised her I'll cook her some chicken. :(

-Taengoo (Sent: 1:41pm)

It was exactly one minute when Taeyeon's phone vibrated again.

Hyesun? Is she your daughter? I want to meet her! Let her come with us! I'll treat you guys chicken! kekeke

-Teukie (Sent: 1:42pm)

Taeyeon turned to her daughter before she replied.

"Hyesun-ah. Umma's friend is going to treat us chicken instead. You want that?"

Hyesun looked at her umma as she responded a cute nod. Taeyeon looked back at her cellphone screen and replied.

She said okay. We'll meet you where? :)

Leeteuk felt excited. It was his first time meeting Taeyeon's daughter.

At the restaurant we ate in right after your debut! Remember that? :) See you there~

Taeyeon took a look at Leeteuk's reply, then she kept her phone aside.

"Ajussi, please take us to Like A Star Restaurant."

The driver nodded before taking a detour. --

After minutes of waiting, Wooyoung's driver finally reached the building and picked him up from the set. Wooyoung has planned on meeting with his girlfriend, IU. He wore his disguises as he went down the car. IU was in disguise as well. She gave his boyfriend a hug as soon as she saw him. Wooyoung would normally hug her back but he wasn't in the mood.

"Oppa! Did you eat lunch already? Come on, let's go eat!" IU suggested using her "Pilsuk" voice. In other words, aegyo. Though Wooyoung hasn't eaten yet, he shook his head for his reponse. He didn't want to eat. He lost his appetite.

"Oppa, what's wrong? Are you sick?" IU pouted, as she touched Wooyoung's forehead.

"I'm not sick." Wooyoung spoke up.

"Well then come on let's eat! How about the restaurant we ate in when we were still filming Dream High?" IU asked him. That restaurant was their first date. It was when Taeyeon was still in America, pregnant with their child.

"Can we just sit down near the playground?" Wooyoung told her. He was thinking of a way on how to tell IU everything that he had with Taeyeon. How he had a major responsibility with Taeyeon and their child. They sat on a bench, feeling the cold breeze on their faces. IU locked arms with Wooyoung as she laid her head on his shoulder.

"Lee Jieun..."

IU quickly pulled her head back, pouting, then playfully smacking Wooyoung. "I told you not to call me by that name!"

Wooyoung cupped her face as she was still pouting. He didn't feel any spark. He just felt like he was cupping a normal dongsaeng's face. "I know you're a strong girl, IU. If I tell you something, please don't change." Wooyoung carefully chose his words. He didn't want to hurt IU. He wanted for them to stay as friends even after this conversation.

"Go..." IU spoke up before Wooyoung could even start. It made Wooyoung confused.

"M-Mwo?" He asked as his head tilted a bit. IU took a breath and smiled.

"I know what happened between you and Taeyeon-unnie."

Wooyoung was speechless. How did she know about this?

"Taeyeon is my bestfriend. I know almost everything about her. She told me about her pregnancy with your child."

Wooyoung was lost for words, but after a while, he managed to speak. "But why did you--" Wooyoung was cut off.

"Go out with you?" she snorted, chuckling a bit. "I know this sounds silly but, I just wanted to stay as close friends with you. You were the one who asked me out. I know I could've refused, but if I did, I know it would be awkward for both of us afterwards. Besides, I have my eye on someone already."

Wooyoung laughed a bit as he pinched IU's cheeks. "You little brat! So who's this lucky guy?"

They took a short laugh before IU whispered to Wooyoung's ears. "Seulong-oppa."

Wooyoung just sat there in shock.

"You like that jerk?" He laughed at IU's type of guy.

"At least he's taller than you!" IU fought back.

"Yah! You wanna die?" He joked IU. Though they have finally broke up indirectly, both of them were happy. And they stayed as friends afterwards.

"You need to go." IU told him. Knowing what she meant, he patted her head and waved her goodbye as he ran going to SNSD's dorm.
