Pov- you get home from a BuzzFeed interview and Evan proposes..   (your Pov)

i was hurrying to finish getting ready since i have to be at the BuzzFeed building in a few minutes for a new valentine's day interview which i was pretty excited about, once i was ready i hurry over to the front door and slide my shoes on before turning to my boyfriend Evan and give him and quick kiss.

"I'll be back in a bit"

"I'll be here"

i give him a smile before grabbing my bag and hurry out of our house and over to my car so i would make it on time, i get to the building and sit down where they tell me too so we could start the interview.

"how are you today y/n?"

"I'm doing good"

"alright well let's get started i bet Evan has something planned for this valentine's day right?"

"not sure"

"Ooo a surprise do you like surprises?"

"depends what kind of surprise it  is"

"makes sense, let's move on to the first question"

"okay"

"so you and Evan have been together for how long now?"

"six years"

"wow that's a long time, when did you two first meet?"

"i met Evan when he was just starting to act in sleepover since it was the first movie i acted in"

"and would you say that you two were friends?"

"not right away i was a pretty shy person so i didn't really talk to anyone"

"so when would you say you two got close?"

"probably when we acted together again for American horror story"

"and so how long were you friends for before you started dating?"

"i think eight years"

"so you knew each other for fourteen years now, where do you think you relationship is going to go from here?"

"I'm not sure, all i hope is that our relationship stays as strong as it is now"

"do you think marriage is in the picture for you two?"

"well I'd love to think so"

this went on for around forty more minutes until i was able to leave, i say goodbye to everyone and make my way to my car and head home. i pull into the parking lot and head up to the front door and push it open once i step inside i see that everything was dark, i turn the light on confused and look around and see Evan was gone i shrug and hang my bag up and take off my shoes before walking down the hallway and that's when i see a light coming from our bedroom.

once i get to our room and push the door open, a smile grows on my face when i see that the room was lit by candles and there was something sat on the bed circled in flower pedals. i look around the room for Evan but he wasn't in there so i walk up to the bed and look down at the envelope confused, i jump when someone wraps their arms around my waist from behind an spin me around i sigh when i see it was Evan with a grin on his face looking down at me.

"you scared the shit out of me Evan"

"oops"

"what is all of this?" i say looking around the room and look back at him.

"you know i love you more than anything right?"

"aw i love you too"

"you make me so happy and i can't believe that i get to wake up next to you every morning and call you my partner.."

i didn't say anything i just stood there still wrapped in his arms listening as he talked to me about how much i meant to him, my heart was fluttering more than ever now hearing the sweet words coming out of Evans mouth. he was always a kind man but this time was different it was just me and him and there was something about him today.. he just spilled out everything about how he felt for me and my love for him grew by the second even though i loved him with all of my heart.

he stops talking and sighs looking me in the eyes before slowly dropping down onto his knees, i felt my heart beat speeding up as i watch him dig into his pocket and to my surprise he pulls out a small box.. i stare down at him shock filling my face as tears spring to my eyes watching as he smiles up at me and opens the box to show a ring sat inside of it.

"y/n i love you with every bit of my body, will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?"

"of course! yes ill marry you!" i say tears starting to stream down my face as Evan gets back to his feet i hurry and pull him into a hug placing my head on his shoulder as he hugs back tightly before pulling away and connecting our lips, i kiss back tears were still streaming down my face as we pull away i try and dry my cheeks but it was no use i was way too happy and these tears were just going to keep coming.

with a smile on his face Evan slides the ring on my finger before kissing me again, i cup his face as we kiss my heart filling fuller than ever. i loved Evan with all of my heart ever since i met him i knew there was something about him that i couldn't help but fall for so when we first started dating we were both so nervous since we didn't want to look like an idiot around each other but we got comfortable quick, Evan wasn't just my boyfriend but he was my best friend we were always laughing or smiling when we were out with each other he made me the happiest person in the world so knowing that i was going to be calling him my husband just tops the cake...

"i love you so much" i managed to say he smiles at him and places another kiss on my lips.

"i love you more than anything" he says making me smile even harder.
