home for the holidays(Evan peters)

( I'm just going to say holiday because i know not everyone celebrates Christmas and i want everyone to be able to read this :))

you loved your boyfriend Evan peters with all of your heart but his job took him away from you most of the time you tried to make sure he didn't see how much it bothered you but when you found out your boyfriend would most likely not be home for the holidays it upset you..

"Evan are you sure you cant leave earlier? if you stay you might not make it home on time!"

"i know y/n but i cant leave early they really need me, but ill be home as soon as i can i promise"

"alright.. well if you do get back on time ill be at my parents they need help decorating for the holidays"

"okay, i love you y/n"

"i love you to Evan"

you hang up the phone and place it on the dash bored of your car and sigh watching as the snow rains down onto the street, you start your car and begin the hour drive to your parents since your boyfriend was gone the house was empty and you were all alone so you packed a small bag and planned to stay at your parents for a few days or until Evan came back from his work trip which from what you've heard wouldn't be for another week meaning he would miss the holidays.

you drove down the empty high way for an hour until you pulled into your parents driveway seeing the living room lights on, you park your car and grab your bag before making your way up the steps and knocking on the door. the door flies open and your mom wraps you a tight hug within seconds not speaking a single word, you smile to yourself and hug her back until she lets go and lets you step inside and get out of the cold. she brought you too your old room where you would be sleeping for the next few days you smile again when you see they kept it the same since you moved out at the age of nineteen, after you were un-packed you join your parents for dinner and spend hours talking about the past and how your life has been now.

even if you and Evan have been dating for already two years your parents have yet to meet him due to how busy he always is but you hoped this holiday they would finally be able to meet your amazing boyfriend but it seems that wont be happening, but after you were done with dinner you help your mom clean up still talking about all sorts of things sine you haven't seen your parents in a year or so. 

once everything was cleaned up you move your way into the living room to see boxes placed around that were filled with decoration's for the holidays, so you spend a good three hours helping your parents place everything the way they wanted it and after that the house looked nice for the holidays but you and your parents were all tired so you say goodnight and hurry to take a quick shower before bed. once you were out of the shower you make your way to your room and put on your sleepwear and dry your hair before climbing into bed relaxing instantly, you were half asleep still scrolling through your phone when a text pops up from Evan.

you hurry and open it to see it was a photo that he took in the airport, your heart races as you hurry to text him.

"your coming home!?"

you wait for a reply for what felt like hours but you didn't get one so you sigh and go to put down your phone until it beeps again, you look at the new text to see it was another photo but this time it was taken from his car. you had no idea if he was messing with you or he was actually home but any tiredness that was in your body was fully gone as you text him again.

"Evan are you really home!?"

 but once again no answer.. you groan and lay your phone down next to you and wait for hopefully another photo and maybe an hour later your phone dings again so you pick your phone up to see what the photo was this time, your heart beat speeds up when you see the photo was of him stood in front of your parents house with the text under it saying..

"can you let me in its really cold"

and with that you drop your phone on the bed and hurry out of bed and down the hall sliding on the wood floors until you get to the front door, you peak through the blinds to see that there was really a car parked in the drive way was in fact not yours.. with a huge smile on your face you un-lock the door and pull it open the see your boyfriend stood there his cheeks a light pink from the cold.

"Evan!" you cry out wrapping your arms around his waist and he hugs you back placing his chin on top of your head.

"surprise" he says when you pull away a smile still on your face as you stared up at the man that you haven't seen in weeks, you cup his face and connect your lips not wanting to waste a single second. he kisses back placing his hands on your waist as the two of you kissed right in the door way not caring about the cold air rushing passed you.

you two pull away a few minutes both smiling ear to ear at each other, you guys hug once again finally being able to touch again after weeks of only seeing each other on a phone.

"i missed you so much" you say still holding onto him.

"i missed you too"

"so what you said earlier today was a lie?"

"mhm, i wanted to surprise you"

"well you did a great job"

"good" he says placing a kiss on your forehead before walking inside and closing the door behind him then looking around.

"ill show you my room" you say holding onto his hand while you quietly walk down the hallway and into your room hurrying to lay down on the bed the tiredness creeping back, you smile when Evan lays next to you placing a kiss on your cheek before resting his head on your chest.

"i love you Evan"

"i love you too y/n"
