tasha came out of the bathroom wearing a black tight dress, her red hair curled.

'oh i see, you get the black dress.' i said.

'the green dress looks better with your black hair and green eyes.' tasha fluttered her eyelashes at me.

'shut up.' i said pushing her.

steve and clint were waiting for us in the lobby. 'wow.' they both whispered. i smiled softly and bit my lip. 'you look amazing.' steve said. he put his hands on my waist and kissed me softly. 'thank you.' i said. i was glad to see that he changed his shirt from this morning. it was white now, as usual, but this one didnt have ketchup on it and smell like sweat. he wore his leather jacket and jeans. 'you don't look so bad yourself, Mr. Rodgers.' i giggled

'if you two love birds are done, we should go.' clint said. i saw that he had his arm wrapped around natasha. and she looked comfortable with it.

clubs definitely arent my scene. the music is too loud, the people are loud, and the dancing is... interesting.  natasha and clint downed a few shots then went to dance. during a slow dance, steve asked me to dance. even though hes so powerful, hes so soft when he dances, and you feel so safe in his arms. we rocked back and forth together slowly. 'y/n i need to tell you something.' he said. every muscle in my body tensed as countless possibilities.

oliver was extremely toxic, and every time he said that, there was reason to be afraid. 'yeah?' i tried to keep the fear out of my voice.

'i think i love you.' steve said.

I took a breath. "Did I scare you?" He asked.

"No." I said, "just... surprised me. I love you too."

Steve and I danced slowly in circles.
